Whoa- hold up there. If Franchise got arrested or even taken away by cops, I would think that would've made the news. When did this happen?
Until you hear this from an official source it's nothing more than unsubstantiated rumors. I would wait to hear something from an official source. The media is great at sniffing out local celebrities being arested.
I 2nd this, my friend works at a valet for one of the gallaria hotels also (don't know if its the same one), he always said Francis would roll through in his masarati(sp) with his "boys" plastered all the time.
Easy turbo, its not like my dad was 4 hours later or anything. He just hit some traffic and was like 20 minutes late or so. Plus, Steve still went to the gym and made it known he was training very hard....no need to try and spin it man.
Nothing like everyone saying you'll never come back and a contract year to motivate you. Whenever everyone says someone with alot of talent can't do something, I tend to go the other way. I wouldn't be surprised if Stevie makes the rotation this year and plays a significant role. It will be very interesting to see if Adelman is able to find a way to utilize the talents Stevie brings to the table in his system.

Good to hear about Steve. If he can come back I really think we would have a chance at getting to at least the semi-finals. We know what he did and he would not be the first to come back from an injury after two or three years. It is frustrating that we have so many health "ifs" with Yao, McGrady and Francis.
I'm with you RR. I just don't understand the hate for Steve. The man wants to play here, he loves our city and team. We should all be rooting for him to succeed. Steve at 75% of his old self makes him a starter over Rafer.
