You got me there. That was a major shame to the NBA. But he claims that Nash deserved it over Nowitzki which must mean in his mind that Nash was the MVP.
I think washed up bum may be a little extreme. One thing Francis always had in Houston was heart and fire on the court. If he can get that back, which it appears he's on his way, he can definitely make an impact even if its 75% of the Franchise. Yes it was one game but I didn't see a washed up bum in the Phoenix game last year. He was far from it and showed the heart and fire that we were accustomed to seeing. I still think he has a shot at helping the Rox. If he doesn't we wouldn't be surprised and we can use him in a trade anyway.
Not to hate on the original post.. but SF is so dedicated to getting in shape that he was late getting to the gym because he was too busy talking to a guy he had never met before and shooting around with him? That doesn't scream "dedicated" to getting in shape to me.

Yeah i saw him about a week ago,and he looks much more slim and fit. oh and on a less serious note, doesn't he look like ke has a cameltoe in this pic.
I've contended all along that Francis will at least try his hardest to make it back. Whether he can get his shooting stroke back to NBA-level, still have explosion in his step, and learn to initiate the offense quicker in Adelman's sets is still in doubt however. I assume the Front Office is going to wait till training camp to make a decision on whether we will need more roster moves at PG/SG.

The Rockets through their partnership with Anta (chinese shoe maker), held a training camp at toyota center for a bunch of chinese players. Rick Adelman and the rest of the coaching staff ran it and also Francis was there working out.
apparently ol' steve-o isnt as cool as we all think he is. my cousin works at the front desk of a hotel in the galleria area and stevie happens to be staying there while his house is getting remodeled. anyway he said that francis came back to the hotel at 1.30 am (this is from thursday night/friday morning) and as the valet guy was opening the door for him to get out, steve began to curse at him. eventually he said something along the lines of "you damn ****ing foreigners...". upon hearing this, my cousin said "sir, thats inappropriate, if you want, just park your car yourself." the franchise proceeded to park the car in a handicap spot. my cousin eventually got him to move it, but not before being subjected to another barrage of insults. anyway, as the expletives continued, my cousin called hpd on him and they came and took him away.
