It is good that Steve set his mind to come back next season! I hope he can show more than 80% of the old Franchise!

Good job! Please keep posting for Steve's news!

Francis is done now. Just like he was done last season. Anyone thinking he has anything left is living in a dreamworld and can't let go of the past. He's a washed up bum now.

    Steve Nash=Steve Francis

I just hope he can come back playing as well as he did before he got injured, that alone makes him valuable. Also here hoping he can possibly bench Rafer.

Well Stevie has had the injury 4 a while. Good thing we expect nothing from him because @ worst, we'll be right + not care and @ best he'll actually do something. Expectations are too low for him to not beat them.

Steve Nash is overrated. Not saying he is a bad player, but he isn't as good as people say he is. If you ask me, those two MVP awards he won are bogus, plus he shouldn't have ever been consider the best PG in the league. Steve Nash and the NBA basically started this whole stupid PG craze as well.

give me this in a lil bit better shape next year and ill more than happily drop b.j. and atleast split his minutes with brooks. the guy is "6'3" and can still dunk pretty easy, that alone speaks volumes of his athleticism. hes no franchise, but we dont need him to be............................but if he still was check this video and tell me how sweet itd be to have him back:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=y-ikExgYnX4 the guy was SICK :p

Nash is the best pg in the league and deserved those mvps and should have gotten a 3rd one, but the voters didn't want to give him three in a row so they gave it to dirk. Francis is the most overrated pg along with marbury to ever play in the nba.

your telling me Kobe wasn't robbed? 05-06

nash isn't the best anymore. (CP3 now) but he was the best PG for those couple years. Nash is the best shooting PG. his %'s are insane. his defense is quite the opposite. he tries hard just sucks at it.

Nope kobe wasn't robbed, but nash was robbed when dirk won it. Voters didn't want to give him 3 in a row so it had to go to dirk.

Kobe shouldn't have even won mvp last year. KG should have won it.

Kobe WAS robbed. Dude averaged 35.4 PPG and 1.8 SPG - both career highs - along with his customary 5 reb and 4 assists a game. Tell me if that is not some amazing stats.

It's just that the league then was still enamoured with Nash leading the fastbreak, high-octane offensive renaissance that they gave it to him.

I do agree that Nash was robbed the following year though. Dirk is perhaps the least worthy MVP of the past decade.

Not to go off-topic, but I do think McGrady was robbed in that '02-'03 season too. Duncan was good, by McGrady had the best PER in the league over guys like Garnett, Duncan and Shaq and carried an NBDL team to the playoffs, albeit in the East.

Damn, my bad on the stats. Posted it and realised 2.2 was his career high for steals, not 1.8.

I still stand by Nash being overrated. Never was the best PG in the league.

Kobe was robbed twice, both seasons where he averaged 30 points.
    T-Mac was robbed as well.
Chris Paul was robbed as well when Kobe got MVP.

Its a never-ending cycle. I do agree that Nash was robbed when Nowitzki won MVP though.

    I heard this news too.
It's a best news for Rockets that Francis will find his state.
To be honest, Rocket's PG or SG has to be strengthened.
Francis is better than any other players in the freedom market.

Nash robbed by Nowitzki yet he isn't even the best pg? What, are they given MVP's to second best players at their position.

I hope he comes back rededicated and ready to contribute to the team, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
