Stevie is still the Franchise, Yao is the Dynasty...seriously though they can both coexist and lead our team to greatness. It doesn't really matter who is the designated "#1 option" they both have proved their worth in the clutch tremendously. With the game winding down, most good teams will use an inside-outside offense, so it will be going to Yao but Francis is just as capable of getting the winning shot like he's proved numerous times.

Francis is a great talent. There is no question about that. He has the POTENTIAL to be great. However, notice that I put "potential" in all caps. He has to get smarter, mentally, for him to take that next step.

Also, although it is nice that you have that type of enthusiasm about his game, I could care less if Stevie "Franchise" is making play after play that gets him on Sportscenter. As long as he making plays that translate to wins which translates to playoff appearances, then I will be mucho happy. And guess what, rockets #1? It hasn't happened yet and it is going on five years. So, while it is a cute and clever nickname, it is a misnomer because someone who is really a "franchise" player would have had his team in the playoffs at least once in 4 seasons.

 

When PGs routinely have their career night when playing Stevie "Franchise" ... God forbid you make that guy attempt to cover a 2.

and then i saw the light and said damn i dont got 4 years to be taken on this serpent ride, this is my team. why..because in years past, I bled at night, my heart stopped a few times when the the Rockets of Horrys rookie year chokes to the Supersonics, I skipped elementary class to watch the 86 Rockets duke it out with the Celtics and the Lakers. I stayed up late at night and got numerous tardys in middleschool just to see that sonofabitch Tomchambers stick it to my team in Phoenix.. I hung in there and missed 1st period woodshop because of my dedication to the Rockets.. and you.. the Mr. couchpot8to.. you have the nerve to think this is all about the kookFranChise, man go buy a summit program with my sweat and perspiration on it from 92...and send one to your modern Barneyhero, because when it comes to the Houston Rockets,,,that chump from Maryland better RECOGNIZE!!! : D

 

More imporantly than him playing or not playing the one, he needs to not be playing the two. In other words, Francis needs to learn to be a PG for the Rockets, or he needs to take his all-offense, no defense, ball-hogging game to another team.

Look, me and you see things so differently. I know that the Houston Rockets will be a better team without Francis, its like addition by subtraction, i really believe that. I've seen certain things in this world and one thing I know is that Steve Francis was the worst thing that ever happen to the Houston Rockets. Agree to whatever man. i see your point and i respect your opinion coz everybody has a right to have their own opinions. and we do have different beliefs. ima just say let's just stick to what we believe in and hopefully, everything works out. if your right about stevie being the worst thing that happened to the rocs, then i admit, i have "eggs in my head". but if stevie proves you wrong, i hope you admit your wrong and take the "eggs in your head" like a man.
