He shoots flat. Not nearly Kenny Smith or EG flat, but if he got more arch in his shot it wouldn't clang against the back or front of the rim so much.
I think Steve has solid mechanics on his shot, with him it is all about confidence. That hesitation on his shot is because he is guaging and thinking way to much. If he could just get on a shooting role this team could easily win 6 to 8 games in row.
