He wasn't mocking Rafer, it's just one of the weird things Steve does.

In his first Rockets go-around, Steve would often "skip" or "hop" down the floor. This was the same thing, except he was hunched over.

yeah, we should just say "Mike James is not a good passer" because saying he has a low bball IQ because he makes several bad passes is misleading because he should be a SG not a PG and when he is a SG he is quite effective. Anyway MJ was just an example. I agree people throw around evaluations of someone's IQ too loosely and too broadly...

Also I think it would be fun to see the actual IQs of different sportsp layers over time. I know that not all of them are going to be above average but that most will probably be, but still some might be much lower than average but can still play the game well. I dunno though, I feel like bringing this up may bring out some bad discussion.

francis played a good game... we need more unselfish play, energy and hustle from francis throughout the season on a consistent basis

I was glad SF has a great game and offically back on the team and playing!!!

However, I think SF being in adelman's doghouse was actually blessing in disguise. why? IN the last couple of games, I don't see that usually selfish SF anymore. He is not determine to do those small things that matters most. Also, he has been constantly looking to pass into Yao alot and made it look so effortlessly.

With SF in game, Yao gets the touches and score. Not to mention Yao came alive a lot more when SF is in.

This tells me Yao and Tmac isn't having this great of relationship compare to SF.

SF should be our starting PG, where he will look to pass to Yao and Yao passing out on double team to either tmac or other players. Tmac should be the scorer and not the playmaker.

Too many people give Stevie a bad rap for being selfish. All he did was what Rudy T told him to do.

Exactly. Rudy T favored the ISO. The majority of our plays consisted of Francis, Cat or Moochie playing ISO, then they either tried to score or kick it back out. Do you blame him? Honestly, that was our best option and amazingly, we had two winning seasons playing that style. JVG also said that Francis is a very coachable player. There's just too many misconceptions about Steve Francis.

Did anyone else notice Yao try to imitate Steve's dance in the background. Funny Yao, he definitely loves Steve.

    Do whaaa?

I don't get it. So b/c Tracy and Yao, who on occasion actually DO show emotion on a regular basis in regular season games, don't have passion?

We are talking just regular season here. Was it not just 2 games ago when Yao yelled after dunking? Tracy has a more quiet passion, but many times during a season you'll see him yell, flex, quietly pump a fist, etc. Was it also not 2 games ago when Tracy was join that whole jump bump with a couple teammates?

And then post season...um, Tracy gets up for these games. You've seen both sides, when he's full of fire, or full of tears. You don't cry about **** if you don't really really care about it. Cry baby or not, it's a sign that you do care and have passion for whatever it is.

Don't get me wrong, I think Steve is full of passion and shows it freely. I admire it. I just don't get it when people watch Yao and Tracy play and say they play with little to no passion.

Last night was so poorly officiated that I found myself sighing on almost each possession. Great game by Francis. Lots of heart and energy and he clearly provided a spark to the team when he was in the game.

That said though, this was clearly a foul.

I don't know how you are getting that from this game. You're right T-Mac should be more of a scorer and not so much setting up other players but just because Francis passes the ball to Yao cleanly doesn't mean that Yao and T-Mac have a bad relationship.

Yeah, iIt's sad he didn't show up to camp in shape so he would have been ready to play. He only played 27 last night and I thought he was going to suck his teeth in.

It's great to see him making a comeback. Should be very interesting as he gets his wind.

It's so good to see Alston distribute the ball to either TMac/Yao/Francis, we have Tmac and Francis to create the offense.

The winning solution for us to play small ball is
    Yao
    Scola/Hayes
    TMac
    SF3
    Alston

    Go Rockets!!!!!
