My wife who never watches with me saw the Francis Block Dance and she loved it as well.

Marion had a bad night - blocked 2x on the same play and then elbowed by Yao in the head - his own fault. :D

This team is gellin' - can't wait to see how well they can play in the 2nd half of the season - Stevie honing his game, Scola with some experience, hope James and Wells can get back into a groove. Maybe even Luther can run some and learn how to pass by then.

It's all good, love this offense!

if 6 loss is what it takes to realize Francis need to play a key role in the team, then hail the 6 loss, it made us better

naahh, we don't need to see this dance. He should chill out and be more humble.

    not a good thread title.

Im excited too, but lets not start multiple threads stating the same thing.

It did feel like a time warp tonight with Yao and Steve leading the way. Team looked completely different with him in there. Looked alot like when Sura finally started playing in 04/05.

    Very exciting.

Francis actually played with both his heart and head. Maybe he's finally matured into the player that we always wanted? Well, its better late than never. I was just thinking to myself how awful it would be if he actually went to Dallas.

Steve is warrior. Only he would go up defending against Amare like that when he's only 6'3. Remember he stood up for yao and pushed amare years back. He's truely fearless.

I was glad to see Steve bring some fire into the game. He should continue to come off the bench and do more of the same. :p

Actually, I don't mind his cockiness. That kind of heart and attitude is exactly what the Rockets have been missing. Would you rather see Yao or Tmac looking emotionless/complacent throughout the game?? Swagger is what we need..

I'm the biggest supporter of Francis and have always made the case that he needs to play and start, but this type of thread is unecessary because those who are critics of Steve will come back to this thread the first bad game he has - kind of like that Mike James thread. Then when he does well, his supporters will come back to this thread. He played very well, once again the box score doesn't do justice to how well he played, but he will have good games, bad ones, and average ones. He will make mistakes and should be allowed to, but ultimately, he'll be a very important positive force on this team. We don't need threads like this, his actions will speak for themselves and the silence of his critics will be deafening.

I have to disagree with that. You have to have passion to win a title, Tmac and Yao could learn a thing or two about game passion

That was the main thing I noticed as well. The other 3 guys on the court helped him up and gave him high 5s. Tmac was nowhere to be seen in the picture. I actually love it. I know it's one game, but in the end Francis will get all the credit

    Good Old STEVIE FRANCHISE!!!!!

I know there are many similar threads. Lock as you wish. But tonight I think all the threads should be about Stevie Franchise!
The good "old" guy was put behind guys like Luther Head, Michael James (no offense to guys, but they don't belong to the same sentence as Francis). Some crazy ones here even talked about bundling Luther, Kirk and Francis for an overpaid A. Miller! Do you know that Francis was an all star and still can have that kind of performance in any given game? Do you know he took much less to join this team? Do you know he is a team player whose prime concern is winning (do you honestly believe that you can say the same for James or Wells?).
Stevie Francis brought tears into my eyes with his game winning shot. Who else in this team including the all mighty TMac will have that kind of move? Many complain that Steve dribble too much. I completely agree. But will he play close to 40 minutes like when he was here the first time? Why can't he dribble more than others if it is good for the team to win? When TMac is on the bench or if he was stopped by double team, the offense of this team becomes stagnant. Who else will be able to create for himself and for others? Steve Francis!
Steve is always my favorite player. He has a bigger heart than any one in the current roster. He wants to win so much. He attack on the offensive end, and defend like crazy on the other end. He won't give up any opportunities to help the team. He is the second best all-around player behind TMac in this team. Why can you hate such a player, when he is trying to help with the least pay he can get?
This team need Steve Francis to come off the bench. They need his leadership. They need him to win big. No more Wells, Head, James first please!
