So you're saying we're in tenth grade because we choose to congratulate a former Rocket on a job well done? Seems to me that WE'RE the ones being mature about it. It's called sportsmanship man. The childish thing to do would be to wish misfortune on a man's career just because he's not a member of the team anymore. But wait, who would ever do a thing like that?

    What is wrong with you??

You've got to be the MOST annoying poster on this board! Please people, don't quote him, it makes it hard to ignore properly!

I mean, you say our main issue is the Rockets, yet you've been in here and posted 5 replies to a topic in the general NBA forum... what is that about? If (as you say) our issue is with the Rockets, then stay in the GARM --> or AT LEAST don't get so hyped up if other people are talking about how well another player is playing on another team.

And why can't we miss Francis? We all know the guy is a winner - but the weight of a nation spoke, and nobody was allowed to say anything positive about him anymore because he has a weakness in his game.... (that's TO's....).

Sure I'm a Rockets fan (only) - and I am STOKED that we got TMac - but I'm also happy for Francis that he has been cut free from the Van Gundy shackles and is now free to take over the game in the fourth (like he did here for a few years). Fact is, in the years where he was properly fit here (so migraine season aside), and where he was primary option, we had winning seasons. And that was done with some pretty crappy peices of the puzzle alongside him (where'd Shandon go? Walt? etc).

Bottom line: you wanna talk about Rockets and the future? GARM is for you. You don't like people talking about Francis (in positive tones)? Don't click on this thread...

I think the whole wishing of misfortune thing started while he was a member of the team.... so I guess it's ok for them to continue it...................

For your info...my post was in reply to JuanValdez question about, "Where did all these fair-weather Francis defenders come from?" as in they are crying that we shouldn't have traded him because of last night game. Please...

Yeah - you're not the first person to make this astute observation.

Quick question: Did the bucks make the playoffs last season? And if they did, what seed were they?

    **Spoiler**

The Bucks were 5th seed in the East...

Oh, BTW, that's 10 places ahead of the Magic last year, who were 15th seed (last for the dummies ;) ) [And we lost to Toronto who were 11th seed...)

So, a victory "against the Bucks" really isn't all that bad...

    Sell it to me.

And I'm changing my desktop to the Stevie Magic one (Tmac now... well shortly it'll change) until the Rockets have a better record than the Magic.

I hope it's before the season is up... or the next 3.:(

I can't stand JVG aka Gargamel!!

    Where's my Magic hat?

btw-thanks for the vid link, nwo34life!

Go Rockets (I look better in red).;)

And yet no one seems to be really understanding it.

We have folks getting emotional over one game for Orlando, and two for the Rockets. A week into the season, and we know jack about anyone.

There's no reason yet to make this much fuss about...well, anything really.

Oh, and FYI...the bucks were a playoff team. Last year. Y'know, the season before this one.

Things kinda change year to year. Just in case you weren't sure. ;)
