    Steve's part of a sports roundtable about groupies with Jerry Stackhouse, Lavar Arrington, Chris McAlister and boxer Sharmba Mitchell.

    The article is not yet online, but here's a sample quote from Stevie:

    Q: How hard is it to handle personal relationships, like dating women?

    Francis: It's tough ... that sh't be stressing me out, man. I love my girl so much, but there's so much candy out there.

    He doesn't say anything controversial in the interview, though he did say that when the Kobe incident was first reported, he "thought automatically that [the alleged victim] was lying."

    there was a study posted 2 years ago that stated 90% of men cheat at least once in their marriage while 40% of women do the same..

    and naaaaah i wouldnt even say most males cheat.

    yeah, a lot of women are impressed if guys have money, but impressed doesn't actually mean they're gonna be golddiggers.
    a lot of guys with money are cocky, arrogant, and are too paranoid even when some women could care less about their money.
    it's the 21st century. We women are independent.

    I'm sure the % is higher now than it was in the past, but I think it's a far cry from the majority of women being independent. When I say independent, I'm talking about living by themselves and supporting themselves, with no help from roommates, family, child support, or the government.

    My girlfriend has her own job and pays for her own car, but if it were not for me, she'd be living with her parents.
    I'm not trying to say that all women are in the same boat, but I can't fathom a large % of the female population as being totally independent.

    Honestly, I wish that the morals of this country weren't on the decline. Todays people don't seem to want anything to do with marriage, and those that do marry, think nothing of throwing it away.
    Men and women seem to be parting ways in this new "Independent" 21st century.

    We now return this thread to the original topic.
