http://www.rockymountainnews.com/news/2009/feb/12/tomasson-respect-earned-in-playoffs/ he plans on playing again. Kind of the same thing we've been hearing but news is news. First thing i've found in over a month. He has really dropped off the map.
I guess Francis doesn't know that talk is cheap. How long has he been saying that he is going to play but still hasn't. He needs to just shut up and show people what he can do. Enough with the talking just prove what you have left on the court.
im pretty sure he'll sign with a team, but what im not so sure of is if he has anything left. He says three teams want him, im sure he'll get some garbage minutes at least to show what he can do. Good luck Steve, see you soon.
Why do I have this feeling he'll sign with the Heat? Especially after they traded marcus banks who wasn't really doing much for them on the bench...Maybe he could be a cheap insurance policy for Chalmers/Quinn?
No matter what he decides to do, I just want Steve to be successful and happy. He did a lot for the Rockets during his early years. I'll always respect and be loyal to him for that.
For those that care...A Steve Francis mentioning Word is former Rockets guard Steve Francis is working out in Washington, with plans to join a team after Thursday's trading deadline. He says he's received feelers, but won't name the teams. For the Heat, it's probably a bit of a stretch. How about Francis vs. Stephon Marbury one-on-one at the Heat's Family Fest for the vacant 15th roster spot?
