DUde how many did Jordan have in his rookie year... That's right ZERO... IT takes time buddy . I'm not saying that steve will go out and get 6 rings, but dont hate him for doing his job.... Dear lord you guys need to chill out... Both Yao and Francis are HOUSTON ROCKET players... Support em as a team...

Steve is a superior athlete. Probably top 10, maybe even top 5. Pound for Pound, he might be top 3. His ability to use his superior athletic talent certainly makes him one of the hardest match ups in the NBA.

If Steve was tall enough to play any other position (center, power forward, small forward, shooting guard) other then point guard then we might be seeing the most dominating player to have played the game. Unfortunately, Steve plays that one position that requires more cognitive skill then any other position: the point guard aka floor general. Steve's lack of ability to make quick, accurate, and deliberate decisions isn't par with other guards in the league. This will become a reoccurring theme of Steve's carrier for the rest of his playing days. This is why I suggest trading Steve for another super star. The only problem is that every other team is probably well aware of Steve’s problems.

Like wise I would trade most of our players for the better players too. Yao included. So what kind of post is that?

We won 43 games last year, and 45 games 3 seasons ago - the season in between (where Francis wasn't fully fit - suffering from Menaires) we only won 27 (I think) games.

How does he not translate to wins?

I would accept those traits in SF if he were not a shortie. Very rare is the time SF could dominate a game like MJ on *both* ends of the court, it's hard enough to make SF play with the guys on his team on offense.
