Thanks . I didnt realize loveing money was more important than helping the needy. I am smarter now.

On the SARS telethon. Ming actually likes to invest his money helping people. Nevermind. I read this thread and most here would waste their millions of $$$ on partys and having fun instead of helping the needy. Im too nice I always help people with money troubles, the last thing on my mind is music.

Do you know how many NBA players, now and past, have invested in a business to the side??? By your standards, I guess they are not very classy and not worthy of being role models.

Shame on Steve for trying to better himself by being an entrenpeneur.

Do some research Mingonly. You mention Yao's telathon, I seem to recall a certain player who you consider being greedy giving money to that.

Steve donated $10 Gs, which was matched by Reebok (his shoe co.).

Rodney King invested all his settlement money in record labels and he's broke again. I'm not sayin Steve is anything like Rodney but there are better things than record labels to invest your money in. It's Steve's money and he is free to do whatever he wants with it.

Whatever about his decision to start the label, but I don't care for the name.

    Isoh.... ISO..... Isolation.

I guess that is just his mindset and the image he wants to put out. I don't know why Steve wants to be Iverson, Iverson is never going to get a ring.

Maybe after a year under JVG he will change the label to pass1shoot2

Just when I thought this BBS couldn't get any dumber, people are reading into the name of the label that everyone is criticizing Steve Francis for starting. Ugh.

Comparing Steve Francis to Rodney King is the absolute worst I have ever witnessed on this board. Hey Summer Song, Steve actually pulled over when the cop flipped on his lights. What a bunch of ass clowns.

I'm amazed how some of these people can even root for the Rockets.

Its still very ass-clownish, the fact is you have Steve and Rodney King in the same post, your head is what needs to bitten off.

What was the point of bringing up Rodney King then?

It was directed at the above posts saying this was an investment for Steve like he was on his way to becoming Master P or something, Rodney King was the guy awarded millions in a lawsuit but is now broke. Ironically he invested poorly in record labels that was my only corellation. And your right it has been very hard to root for the Rox the past few years, luckily I think JVG will right the ship.
