    I looked all over for Steve Francis on the news, this is what I got:

    2:15 p.m. June 14, 2005

    SAN DIEGO – Businessman and mayoral candidate Steve Francis announced Tuesday that he has won the endorsement of the San Diego Republican Party.

    "The party's principles on fiscal discipline are needed in our city government today," Francis said in a statement.

    "I look forward to working to restore the shine to our city for all San Diegans – Republicans, Independents and Democrats alike."

    Perhaps he was angry that he is only polling 3% for San Diego mayor, which appears to be the latest Steve Francis news.

    It will take a while before the AP comes out with an article. All the attention is on the Finals. Nobody wants to read or write about Steve Francis

    it's a wire service, I'm pretty sure there is a spare stringer in Florida that can put out the report. In fact, they put out multiple stories since you posted this - a number of which don't deal with the finals:

    So then what is your source? I don't know if you're lying and assume that you are not, but you can't just post "a little bird told me" stories that don't get verified and expect people to not question them.
