Will Francis be back in time for the playoff or he is out for the season? I know everyone say he is out of the season but you'll never know about rehab and the will to recover. On the hand, he could end up being like Bob Sura which would be a very sad. I sincerely hope he'll have a successful operation and excel in rehab so much that he'll be back for this year playoff. I hope he'll be our saviour and if he could reproduce his play in the phoenix game during the crucial playoff time or better during WCF and win us the GAME 7.. I'll be very very pleased.
Yao Ming don't like Francis no more. lets just say, Bob Sura not taking Yao Ming's hand to get up off the court that one time was nothing compared to this.
If Steve had taken care of his body, worked otu properly, eaten healthier, and not partied so much, this would never have happpened. He cut his own career short. I believe he will be back, but not in a good way, Steve Francis is like herpes, just when you think he is gone, he flares back up.
It is a quad injury from what I have read so that is totally recoverable. He just never stopped playing to have it surgically repaired which is what it needed. Looks like he should have done this last summer but sometimes you try to play through an injury and it never gets better. Patience - it is not like he is going anywhere next season so hang out and let's see if he gets it healed up this summer.
From what I've seen, people either love Francis or hate him. I think the majority still want to see him make a comeback and even better if he makes a Baron Davis type comeback. It would be the feel good story of the year. Imagine if we could somehow get 20 ppg 6 rebound and 6 assists Stevie back to go with T-Mac and Yao
