so dumb. When the hand checking was disallowed from basketball the game slowly ended with that one rule change. It just let other rule changes "happen." Just accepted. Why would the Free Throw, you are offering a team 2 pts. Stern, yes it slows the game down, but the object is to win the game, and of course make the FREE THROWS. If a team offers you two free throws Stern should not be changing rules like this.

While you're at it Stern let's disallow calling a time out to save a possession for your team.

    Stern you are getting ridiculous!

How does that reinforce he doesn't give a damn about most teams? He talked this over with the committee and they rejected the proposal. Isn't this the same Stern that supposedly has a vendetta against the Spurs and recently fined them 250k? Hack-a-Howard is the top story for every sports media outlet and Stern has to address this issue before it starts becoming a huge epidemic such as the case with the replacement refs and the Fail Mary debacle.

I believe Dwight and every NBA player should know and learn how to shoot free throws correctly. I'm not even going to argue that point. My main gripe is that they're fouling him away from the ball and just cheesing the game. If he's inside the paint and they want to hold him down as he goes up for the ball, no complaints here. Thats good D and no "free" baskets. But just running up to him when he doesn't even have the effin' ball? No one wants to watch that and thats just plain garbage that its even allowed.
