Why did they open an internal investigation based on their interaction with Brown and Porter Jr if nothing nefarious went down?
DAMN I still remember how disappointed I was when those two were suspended coming off of a championship series loss to the Celtics .... What could have been.
Just about anything is within the realm of possibility. Nobody was arrested, nobody was injured (by the police). I just don't see a basis to believe the cops did something ill when the more likely possibility is they are investigating a stabbing and don't want to put all their cards on the table until an arrest has been made. If something HAD happened I would agree that the police might be covering something up.
Tad Brown resigned. Sterling Brown assaulted. Bobby Brown, please be safe brother, enough Rockets legends have gone down.
At least he was practicing covid safety protocols. Those 6ft social distant lapdances are totally worth staying until the wee hours of the morning. Surprised House wasn't tagging along. I guess there were no nurses at the Booby Trap.
Kevin porter jr.( the potential face of the franchise) being involved in this probably caused tad brown to resign our organization has hit rock bottom
If i am GM, I would draft Cade, and potential 1st rounders. I would Involve a trade for a star player come this summer and rebuild around these 2, not whats on this team right now, Trade would be revolved around Wood, Porter, and Brown to some other organization. Cade should be the franchise, its already clear Porter has mental issues already. If this was just out of frustration, and they learn from it so be it, but like i said im pairing Cade with a All star, and to do it i use Wood and Porter.
Enjoy yourself and the company of others at the Booby Trap, get into a parking lot fight, exchange expletives with the police... A day filled with accomplishments, and it's only 8:00am!
I agree Kevin porter can’t be the leader of the rockets The potential face of an nba franchise should NOT be out at 7:00 in the morning the night before a game. Bad look
Kevin Porter Jr. was fined 50K for this incident. He's supposed to be deemed low risk; we need to curb our expectations. Rockets got him for 1.7 (this season), then 1.7, 3.2 mil. ...so let's see how things go start of next season. Team can always cut ties if need be.
