Don't forget the Florida Gators. Gator meat is eaten in Florida.

For an NBA team, there is the Milwaukee Bucks. Venison.

Its a shame that Black American athletes get more love and appreciation over in other couuntries.. than their own.

If i were Marbury i would never move back to America either

Starbury should apply for Chinese citizenship. Their National team could use a good PG.

I bet he loves China more than he does in the U.S. now too. China has really embraced Starbury, whereas in the U.S. he's just ridiculed as a crackhead.

Ironic, as it may sound, but that's been the case for a good bit of sports history.

It is all about the money, if CBA have enough money, don't doubt for a second Lebrons and Kobes would play in CBA.

Not going to happen, in order to do that, he would have to renounce his citizenship to US. I believe China does not allow dual citizenship, can he play for Taiwan :p Beijing Duck is the perfect nickname, Peking Duck is a pretty good dish.

He doesn't want to play for China but he does want to be the Chinese National team coach one day. He wants to be the technical adviser for the Olympic team this summer.

Even if he is willing to renounce his US citizenship, he can't play for the Chinese National Team since he was on the 2004 US Olympic team.

Since when is this "national love" just a Chinese thingy? If someone insulted your country like that, how would you react?

I never liked Marbury as an NBA player. Maybe he has martured. Unfortunately it's a bit late to come back to the back to the NBA. But good for him to have found a good place to showcase his skills and inspire a lot of people. Congrats!

He called Starbury's shoes cheap and the championship cheap. Folks here call the D-League inferior all the time. Whether they are from Canada, South America, or Asia, I agree with them. I don't take it as insult.

The D-league championship is cheap trophy. A CBA(Continental Basketball Association) trophy is another cheap trophy. I insulted America by talking about an inferior league.

AMC Gremlin is cheaply made garbage. Ford Pinto is cheap crap too. American chocolate is cheap and European chocolate is better. I just insulted my country, according to you.

Just because shirts and shoes are made cheaper in China, doesn't mean it's bad. Not every manufactured product in every single country is all bad or all good. There's a difference between a $20 sneaker and China. You shouldn't paint with a such broad stroke. Don't sweat it. If it makes you happy, I can think of more cheap american made products, like McDonald's burgers and pink slime.
