I honestly think he will. I mean he has seen what having a all star talent level player can do in Dallas the last 2 years. I also believe Wood needs to start being more assertive in wanting/comanding the ball in the high post or baseline area and do work with it. He is still growing as a go-to player and it will take time for that to happen. He didn't come into the league as the go-to player on his college team so that mentality has to be instilled in him. Let's give it time and see..

we have to be honest with our talent level in this conversation too.... House Jr, BMac, Cousins, Brown are all being asked to play much larger roles than they should be during this injury riddled, rebuild transition period. Those guys are good off the bench in limited minutes, but not good to play over 25 mins and be asked to make plays and do more than one or two things. Dipo coming back and in and out of the line up, wall in and out, and now even Gordon in and out... c'mon man, this team is not built to win much of anything. Its a transition squad!

House was a starter before his injury.

Boogie was former All Star and Silas loves his ace.

Rockets signed Justin Patton.....finally a true big!!!!! That’s a notch in Silas’ favor IF he plays him as many minutes as he plays Tucker and suckwad House. He also said he is considering getting rid of the rest days on back to backs. Never too late to change Coach Silas!!!!!

House only fits next to Harden and Dantoni system where he only have to catch and shoot and slash. Now we require him to actually play basketball which he isn't very good at.

Then Silas should not encourage House, BMac and Tucker to do things that they absolutely suck at doing.

It took Silas and Stone THIS long to figure this shet out????

That 5 out small ball switch everything should be the Rockets system???

There are obtuse people on CF but these 2 guys are supposed to be the smart ones, the foundation for the future of this franchise.

2 coaches have been fired already.. why do I have feeling that coach Silas if he keeps losing games will be the next axe to fall

This is a situation where the eye test us superior to the stats.

The question is about generation of good shots and scoring opportunities.
Regardless as to whether it is successful.
The best offense in the world cannot over come deficiencies in talent and abilities

    Same for the defense

So we just have to look and see how it goes

Silas is supposed to be an offensive genius.

Rockets only better than 4 other NBA teams offensively.

And Silas offense was struggling even when he had Harden.

You mean the same Harden who was sabotaging his season to force a trade? I’m not a Silas advocate but I don’t think that’s a fair criticism either.

Same Harden that was playing less iso, more off ball per Silas preferences.

And even handcuffed by Silas, Harden was still Rockets best scorer AND leading NBA in assists.

I wish Wall could sabotage our team like that.

Where was this FIRE and truth during the game???

Silas should have benched his starters in the 3rd for the garbage effort.

But nope, allowed them to continue playing like wet steaming sewage.

    Especially John Wall.

And this is NOT the first time. A streak of 0-8 doesnt just happen.

With Wall and Boogie as YOUR chosen leaders, you enabled this shet.

Too many Quarters where we lose by double digits
and Where we only score in the Teens

We have 8 turnovers and still lost by 20
So that means we not getting rebounds
    and
    we simply not hitting shots

That is Silas angry? Let’s hope he can get more pissed.

He is doing what he is supposed to do, getting his guys on the same page and playing while trying to win games.

However the reality is human nature kicks in. Guys like Wall and Tucker, Oladipo and Gordon have no real motivation. The Rockets are bad, they know they will be traded or sign elsewhere... defense and effort doesn’t get you checks...
