Watching JG get open off a double pin down, and then KPJ waiving it off to take the worst shot ever after 22 dribbles, it ain’t it.

Y’all do know Green and KPJ have the same usage rate and Green takes more shots than Porter right?

Probably KPJ's agent is some other Silas.

Yes, that's true. Nevertheless, KPJ puts all the scoring on his shoulders when he doesn't have to. I do think KPJ should pass the ball out to the corner 3. Both Jabari and Jalen shoot comfortably from there.

Yea he does miss a lot of easy kick outs due to tunnel vision.

Hopefully it’s pointed out on film so we can see that improve.

Or maybe he is a off guard. His defense is fine and would look better if wasn’t asked to do so much.

He'd look better, but it would hurt everyone else because no one else is currently capable of doing that heavy lifting for him.

I think as Green develops and maybe Sengun calms down and stops being a turnover machine everything will make more sense.

So you think he is out of position and asked to do to much, too? If given a lesser role he would dominate. If a coach played to Porter’s strengths and minimized weaknesses by placing him winning situations, think what he could be. A veteran point with the team’s talent level would be hard to get high draft picks.

This is why I wouldn't bet on KPJ, he did the same things last year. He also still doesn't do the same thing he needed to do last year. And contrary to what his fans (and DD) seem to believe, KPJ is not a star guard or wing by any measure. Sadly though, right now he is the best we got at the PG position whether it be due to lack of ability or experience by all our other possible PG candidates. Tyty is a rookie, Nix just sucks, and JC has... he hasn't been someone I would want to see on the court which is a damn shame for me. In an ideal world, Sengun puts more strength and develops range so he isn't a permanent fixture in the post that takes space away from Green and can handle the facilitator role. He is not anywhere close yet though, hence why I support him being moved to the 2nd unit. What I REALLY wanted was to sign Rubio during the offseason and if Silas insisted on KPJ playing PG, have Rubio mentor him.

KPJ makes Rubio look like a PG savant

I think the plan is to run 2 combo guards together but right now one of them can't pull their weight. Given time, I think they'll be able to and at that point the tandem will work much better.

Till then KPJ will have to do the heavy lifting so that they can take their time developing.

seems like Silas mentioned Silas balls. yes, Silas asked from kpj, may have some more, please. kpj should be something special. i wonder what he does with balls other than what we see on court. We know Silas said no tongue for balls, period. what has been typed here has been nonsense and totally KPJ-Silas ruled. Just like their support for KPj on court, nonsense support. so no balls no charity.

Do you really know the organization’s true goal?

A point guard of any kind… we paid an all star point guard to set for 2 seasons to get to this point. Keeping playmakers away is a great way to get higher draft picks. Watch the scrabble as we try to overcome the lack of structure. Let’s recap… find a younger player in Porter then pin the hopes and dreams of the franchise on him. We watch and wonder as we change his position asking him to change everything about his game. Then get upset when simple plays aren’t run. The overall development suffers as the top talent keeps get added. The leadership knows the difference and the plan.

Of course, that’s what we want from JG. How about KPJ vs Jabari/Sengun?

can't run offense through Al.P. we'd win games.

    gotta lose.

keep the stank running through kpjr.

At this point, based on what we have seen and know that ISO numbers are increasing for players that it should not be increasing for, this is a blatant tank. I just hope Jabari and JG can handle 1 more year of this, because it is indeed very intentional looking.

    What about them?

Green (19 attempts) Porter (17) and Bari (14) are our First Second and Third options respectively.

Sengun doesn’t start (right now) and is a post player. He’s not gonna get a ton of post up plays called for him.

For reference top 3 players in post touches per game last season were Jokic (10) Embiid (9.8) and AD (6.3).
