Hmm I guess my post got deleted in the move... <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/-bbkd8UGSAg?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> This came out yesterday, watch it before making a decision. He would most likely be 3rd string SG and maybe backup SF. There is no way in hell he accepts this role. He'll fester the entire season and create unnecessary chemistry issues. I would think about signing him up for a playoff run or if Casspi doesn't work out. By then the rotations and chemistry would be more established. The high pressure playoffs and playing in front of a crowd that loves him (hometown Rockets) seems to bring out the best in him ('07 GSW vs. DAL and '03 Finals)
Artest, Jackson, Turkoglu -- why are you guys so insistent on signing old has-beens and never-weres? We have a great YOUNG team. No need to bring in these mid-30s washouts. Seriously. Think about this stuff before you blindly post.
You guys really think this team can win a championship without any veteran leadership?? The oldest one on this team is like 27? This guy can shoot the three and spread out the defense. He can create on his own. Did you guys watch our bench last year? Jackson brings toughness and leadership. We are a pussified team right now that will get walked on.
yeah dont think he would be a good fit, but that was a great interview, he does not carry himself at all they way i expected him to, also brought back funny memories of the brawl
Leadership? He was CUT before the playoffs began for being a complete cancer and is on record saying he didn't regret anything. no no NO to Stephen Jackson.
I've always liked his game but I think Casspi is probably a better fit for our roster. He is younger and has more upside than Stephen Jackson. Casspi is also an inch taller and has a slightly better career 3pt percentage. He is from Houston though and it would be cool having a hometown guy on the squad. Interesting interview here... <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/-bbkd8UGSAg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> He talks about getting booted by the Spurs, the shooting at tittybar, and the Pacer/Piston brawl.
First off, Garcia is like 32 yr old so uhhh what? Second, toughness/leadership? The kind where the Spurs end up cutting you weeks before the playoffs, where they get no real benefit for doing so except getting rid of your ass from the locker room? Yeah, I'll skip that "leadership."
