Nice tribute. Also nice to see the clowns of the board not letting us down.

OT, but one would think [movie trailer voice] in the year 2013 [/movie trailer voice], technology is available so that quotes of the person I have blocked is also blocked?

aahhh yes the "crapping on the guy with the dead mom makes me cool on the internets right??" thread.

Empathy is a higher order brain function - I would suggest reading as many books possible and just try to better yourself everyday. Make becoming intelligent a priority ;)

When my mom passes away, I'm not going to write anything ahead, prepare or rehearse. And screw pictures of her in her glory days. It seems transparent, fake and overdone to bring those with you to share.

I'm just going to wing it.

    Ima gonna keep it   R E A L   Ma!

That's why they got smileys bro. One for every occasion.

    Keep it real like Swoly-Dip****.

    Btw. Gotcha

You didn't use a smiley in that post

    FAIL

Swoly-D's use of smileys are prepared, planned in advance or rehearsed. And who care if those three choices are redundant I don't have time to worry about grammar things right now

The real Swoly-D doesn't use them when he is being real

Thanks for sharing. He did a pretty good job keeping composure. Nearly lost it when he told what his mother's favorite memory was. :(

I dread the day when my own mother passes away. I know I couldn't describe her life in the manner as he did in that clip for his mother.

Said your mother every day of her life, from the day you slid out of her gap to the day you moved out of her home.

wth man? You don't have to be a Colbert fan to have empathy with him, his mother passed away a week ago and your calling his feelings 'staged'. Come on!

Who would think that a thread about someone's tribute to their mom could sink so low.
