    What would make you believe that Detroit is genuinely interested in McGrady? So far all we have is a rumor that was promptly shot down by Detroit itself. What signs have they shown besides entertaining the thought? Who hasn't entertained the thought of having LeBron or Kobe on their team? Why is it that T-Mac needs to be featured as a trade rumor on ESPN? I guess it's because of yet another first round exit.

    I wonder if Stephen A even directly asked McGrady if he would like to be traded to Detroit. If you notice, all of the quotes from the above quote are from Stephen A, none from McGrady. What McGrady did apparently say was that he is very happy in Houston but wants to win. So based on that he is now willing to be traded to Detroit?

    My gosh if you don't have anything better to do than create speculation with no valid sources why don't you talk about how Denver gave away Marcus Camby? At least that actually happened.

    Smith said "he just talked to Tracy McGrady". If he really wants to be in the doghouse, then he can make up a lie. So for his own sake we'll assume he did talk with Tracy.

    I've never seen someone's words dissected like McGradys.

    He said he's very happy here. Ok, cool.

    He said he wants to win. Ok, good.

    When other players say this, this board is all about, "*That's* what we need on this team."

    As unbelieveable some of this crap is, it just doesn't surprise me. Just like when posting a random picture of Yao enjoying some ice cream..."Shouldn't he be training!? Isn't he in China right now?!"

    Sigh...grass always seems greener on the other side I suppose.

    Tmac will not get traded. At least not this season. Everything hinges on how far we go in the playoffs this upcoming season.

    For the love of god! Stop the madness! Mcgrady is not going anywhere. Morey understands his value to the team, and he knows what Mcgrady is capable of doing when he is healthy. You guys forget so easily. This guy still has alot of game left. Totally blowing up a team that won 22 in a row last year(10 of those without their best player) would not be wise...

    Detroit has some good players with championship experience, but they would not come in and fit in right away. We can't afford another year where we're still trying to find ourselves.

    Yeah, I like Rip. He seems like a moneyball type of guy too. He's a very efficient scorer for being primarily a jump shooter.
