Even if T-Mac said something to the effect of, "Yeah, I wouldn't mind being traded" -- that can't be taken seriously. You word the original question slightly differently, and the next thing out of his mouth could just as easily be, "I love Houston, and I definitely want to get it done here."

I've learned to put zero stock in anything T-Mac says. As some Houston reporter (I forget who) said once, his views change with the wind.

Stephen A: Quite frankly, Joe Dumars is interested in Tracy McGrady as a player and his contract. Quite frankly, I've talked to Tracy McGrady and he said that he is happy in Houston and wants to win.

Stephen A. Smith must have got a stern (no pun intended, no "Stern", but small s "stern") talking-to about the screaming act. He's been pretty subdued for awhile, that I can see.

One thing about all this is, if Stephen Smith talked to McGrady, and McGrady said he's happy in Houston but just wants to win, and Smith didn't follow with, "Do you think all this trade talk is academic anyway?"....

This trade rumor might have wobbly legs, but the denials from either the Rockets or Pistons camps have pretty much been, "We are not interested in this trade....at this particular moment in time".

If someone said he wants to win, it doesn't mean he want to be traded. Anyway, thats Stephen A. What can you expect?

Quite Frankly who doesn't want to win?

He took whatever Tmac said and twisted it to sound like Tmac says he can't win in Houston, which is a crock.. They can win if they can stay darn healthy!!

S.asssssS is just looking for a rise. I really can't stand that dude.

Quite frankly T Mac could have flat out told Stephen A Smith NO, he didn't want to be traded.

"is tmac interested in a trade? am i interested in cheese doodles?

quite frankly, the answer to both is yes. why? because everything i say is important. "

    I really wouldn't take seriously.

"is Detroit interested, absolutely. Is TMAC interested? Sure, he said he is very happy in Houston but wants to win"

and I guess the Houston Rockets don't have any say in this?

I kind of sees TMAC's statement like when people ask you about your job, "I am very happy working there but I would like a promotion", its not like you going to quit.

A few days ago every talk was about Maggette, Brand, Baron Davis, etc. Now there is nothing to talk about, so they just reviving the old trade talk, last year was Chicago, now is Detroit.
