again, i said i hope the team will trade tmac IF we get rip also so it gives us depth at every position with no holes. if we want to be a championship-caliber team, we cannot have luther play a lot of SG or battier/prince playing there. we won't do much, esp. knowing yao will probably miss a lot of time for the rest of his career.

again trading tmac just to trade him is stupid. he showed a lot of heart last yr playing through injuries in the playoffs when all the chips were against us. wait for a healthy team. but don't trade just to trade. bad things always happen when you do that.

ok, then disregard the 29 and 13 he put up in game 7. go protest outside of the TC when we play. boo him at the TC and put up signs that says he sucks. don't spew hate on this board. take action and do it and try to get him traded.

toronto fans did that to VC. if you really want him traded, then go do just that. be a man and back up your words.

I agree that would be a good trade but I don't think Detroit wants to give up Hamilton. Morey isn't a McGrady lover he just wants fair value back. But the more I look at their stats the more I like this deal...

    T-Mac: 21ppg 5rpg 6ast FG42% 3pt29% FT68% Age-29

    Billups: 17ppg 2rpg 7ast FG45% 3pt40% FT91% Age-31
    Hamilon: 17ppg 3rpg 4ast FG48% 3pt44% FT83% Age-30

We still have a window of at least 2 years and more championship experience to go with Barry's. You also get two very efficient scorers/passers and with Yao in the paint I expect their percentages to be even higher if a trade were to go down. DO IT MOREY!!

Hey Anti-Sonic, wanna join me outside the Toyota Center?
Nevermind, I shouldn't even go to any Rockets games next year.
I'm probably contributing to his salary.

    Any insiders have Morey's number?
I'd love to have a talk with him.

I do boo him at the TC.
Pretty funny when the rowdies look at me, considering I usually sit in section 114 or 115.

obviously you're in the minority ;) . but again, it's a free country. i'm sure if you can get every rocket fan to hate tmac with a passion like you do, he will be traded for a bag of chips. no one is stopping you. you don't have to buy tickets. just do it outside TC.

When T-mac is gone, I'm sure we will have things to agree on as Rockets fans, but for now..... yeah
Half the people in the TC don't even like the Rockets.

You got your executives that bring their laptops and do their work instead of watching the game.

But seriously, I'm sick of Rockets fan talking about Mcgrady like he is some basketball god.

Secretly you all are disappointed by the yearly failure that results in an early start to the off season.

After 4 years, what makes you think something is going to change??

If we do get out of the 1st round with Mcgrady, then YO I'll be ecstatic.
I'll probably deny the fact that Mcgrady had anything to do with it, but thats just me.

There is not many other possibilities out there, but i can think of one other that is plausible or close maybe better than that Detroit one. Other than the 2 teams i doubt anything else out there is worth to consider in any T-Mac scenario which i believe is limited down to 3 teams anyways.

As for adding another legit option goes while keeping McGrady goes, i can only come up with 2-3 teams that is plausible the other ones to me is not even worth the risk.

If it has nothing to do with any of these players of course if Morey reads this he would shoot me down probably.

    Redd
    Jefferson
    Williams
    Billups
    Hamilton
    Turkaglu
    Reddick
    Carter
    Van Horn (maybe)

    Then forget it.

From my understanding there is a handful of name who wears headbands, but LeBron James is not one of them.

Harrington? Nah not worth giving up Battier. That is a lateral movement for either side of the court not worth it, Battier is much harder to replace as to a Harrington.

Morey said he doubts anybody will want to break up it's core and Detroit is already jumping the gun so when it comes to headbands Wallace/Hamilton is the only 2 that fits his words. I would not do it, but i'm not the GM either.

Morey said one of the pretenders will get a slap in the face around the first month or so when they decide to throw it all in and will be fed up with their core and so far Dumars has jumped the gun.

huh? I think you are confusing TMac here with Yao. At least on this board no one thinks TMac is God. Yao on the other hand can do no wrong.

IMO I really don't like the idea of tradin McGrady this year. Our efforts last season was too good to risk losing it all on a silly mistakes.

But I do have to say, Yao is above the law more than McGrady (like antisonic). But in terms of benefit, Mcgrady would provide more than Yao. If we were offered Billups and Hamilton however, that would be a different story.
