If you're half white and half black you can go around most black folks and still be accepted. Around most white folks you're still considered a negro. Do you think they were calling them biracial back in the day and treated differently from dark skinned folks... They would get the rope too.

A lot of athletes have declined going to the White House with Obama as President.

Tim Thomas, several members of the 72' Dolphins when they were honored recently, Matt Birk and I believe Albert Pujols too.

I think that you go regardless of who the President is, out of respect for the office... but Tom Brady isn't the first or last athlete to decline.
