always makes me glad when I see stuff like this to know that all I'm missing is a bunch of self righteous blowhards announcing their ignorance with authority and passing opinions as undeniable altruism.

    Unwatchable.

Whoa there. I had never heard the gentleman from Compton talk about any other sport besides football before. He is great. Already better than 90% of nba analysts.

As for the whole 'LoF' thing, I think people often throw that word around in a mindless way. It's actually pretty hard to separate support for a player from support for the team, and the two affect each other over time, as you point out. You can follow a player and end up following the team; you can also follow a team and for that reason get emotionally invested in the players.

At its worst, the word 'LoF' is often used as a bullying tactic by self-appointed policemen, who presume to be able to grant and deny permission to be a fan. What a weird idea -- that, to be a fan, you need to get the permission of some stranger who has decided he is the guardian of true fan status. These people try so hard to define others -- who a true fan is, who isn't -- but all they're really doing is trying to define themselves, and then imposing that self-definition onto others. It's like someone with a self-identity issue lashing out at others. Everyone's situation and history is different; there is no single right way to be a fan.

There are two things we definitely did not need on Clutchfans-

    A. ANOTHER thread on Jeremy Lin

    and

    B. A thread with anything to do with Stephen A. Smith

Do asians feel that blacks and only blacks are 'RACIST' againist them

how come whenever someone of another race does something controversial againist asians, they dont speak up. But when SAS( who is a troll like his buddy Skip). Or Mayweather says something about Pacquaio.. its always racist

Mayweather was replying to some of Pacquaios racist fans calling him racial slurs on that Ustream, but who cares. It is what it is

If Daniel Tosh makes a joke about asian people... I BET THEIR WILL BE NO RESPONSE from the asian community

but if Chris Rock says something... WATCH THE VIDEOS be posted up

Its almost like in the back of your minds, you want blacks to be racist towards you, other minorities feel this way too for some reason. They have been believing the myth that black people are racist( which is physically impossible in America, since most of us are incarerated).

I dont know how many times im going to say it, but SAS is paid to be PRO-BLACK on ESPN, ESPN likes to hype up black athletes. But they can make more money when they tear them down. TMZ created a monster with the Tiger Woods story, and ESPN has completely changed as a network copying them in a "sports" way. There website is almost a sports gossip outlet and not a sports outlet.

    "RG3 says Rams played dirty"

"Steve Smith unhappy with Cam Newton"

2 headlines that will bring in the haters, racist, and everything in between. ESPN knows what they are doing. Build the athlete up and tear them down

ESPN doesnt want biased black analysts, Remmeber Rob Parker... me either
    No race card just facts

Did he say he would go to Lin for points but to Felton for running a better show with Melo and Stats?

Someone should show this to Lin everyday and remind him that he went to Harvard.

I actually enjoyed that clip, thought it was fun, if nothing else because it was 1) props to Houston for being savvy, and 2) bashing the Knicks.

This is not the Oppression Olympics, stop pinning one minority group against another, and stop claiming that you know how all Asians react to people's comments/criticisms. You just made yourself look ignorant.

You sound confused, are you in college and going through identity issues? You should take a class on race in america, every community college and university has these courses. You won't be so angry after you educate yourself.

What? If anything African Americans seem to have a free license to play the race card all the time even if they make racist comments themselves. Floyd Mayweather is also a known racist, sexist, and general POS. Stephen A Smith never seems to have any good analysis and seems to rely solely on emotion more than anything. He seems to have a hard on for bashing Lin every chance he gets for no apparent reason.

Anyway I have no clue what you are talking about when you say that Asians only react to racism from African Americans. A stupid and baseless claim for sure.
