If Howard is in it for the Money, he would come to Houston (No State Income Tax) or stay in Orlando (No State Income Tax). I am sure he wants to win a championship too. If he wants to be a drama queen and put together a "dream team" like Miami, he can have that here as well.

People don't remember that 20 years ago in Houston, Hakeem was having similar type drama with the organiztion. But with the front office, not with the coach.

It went very well for Houston shortly after. With Howard and the Magic, looking like bridges are burning for good.

Anything is possible with Morey behind the wheel.

We're going all-in for Howard, I have no doubt about it.

I think Dwight is the most overrated superstar. Sure he can rebounds and protect the rim, but he's not good enough offensively to be your go to guy late in the game. With that said, i would still go for him. Having a player like him will definitely attract at least another all star player here.

I think any superstar will request a trade when stuck with NBDL caliber players for 3 years. Lakers had no attempt of upgrading for 3 years. VC was brought to Magic, AI was brought to Nuggets. It didn't work out but the FO at least tried. For 3.5 years, the only major trade Lakers had was Butler for Kwame. And Butler happened to be close to Kobe. Show me another superstar wasted his prime like that and you have a point.

This is not about asking a trade. This is about handling the trade talk.
