This idiot just proved (as if he needed to) he doesn't watch the games.

To be fair, Dwight Howard is a dear friend of his.

Maybe Stephen meant Dwight didn't want McHale.

    Smith often does have insight.

I hate that he's sitting out B2Bs(even though I expected it all summer). But it is benefitting him in that he can go all out when he does play. He's been putting up pretty solid numbers this year. But the problem is the rest of the team is horrendous on the defensive end and McHale constantly going small is leaving them vulnerable on the boards.

Either way, it's insane to blame him for McHale's firing. Harden is the main culprit. Hell, blame the entire team as a collective unit. But not Dwight by himself.

Pardon the interuption guy on ESPN also thought Harden was playing like MVP candidate this year. ESPN doesn't watch Rockets play this season

For the first time Dwight Howard has been good and quiet. And has been playing great so far this season and shows up in the in the playoffs. James Kardashian on the other hand, has been playing crap lately and has been bad in the playoffs and spends more time with Khloe. Who's the problem there? This team should be Dwight's team NOT James Kardashian's team.

Of course it's not Dwight's fault Mchale was fired, but I do agree that Dwight has fallen behind a lot of the bigs in the league. And I do agree with what Bowen said this morning that Dwight shouldn't be resting at this time, that if he's healthy he needs to play b/c that's what he's paid to do. He's hurting the team by not playing but that has nothing to do with Mchale being fired.

If any player should shoulder blame it's Harden. With the MVP talks, reaching the Western Conference Finals and his new shoe deal, he thinks he's entitled for success instead of earning it. He came into camp out of shape, playing even more lazy than before, and constantly blaming his teammates for his mistakes. Regardless of his behavior Mchale wasn't the right coach for this team but with the coaching change Harden needs to change as well and become the leader this team needs.

I think Dwight is one of the few players who doesn't deserve any blame at all (other than holding OTHER players accountable as a team leader). I'm not even a huge Dwight fan. I still wouldn't mind if he opts out and walks. But his play has been one of the bright spots this season. He finally bought in and played to his strengths. Stopped posting up except when he was right under the rim. I hope that doesn't go away.

Dwight has actually been playing well. I'm not sure why he'd want McHale fired. Wasn't it SAS that said he came to Houston BECAUSE of McHale?

It's sad when these national guys don't actually watch the game and they just jump to conclusions. It's pretty clear McHale lost the entire locker room.

Man its just the popular thing to hate on Dwight. Him and Capela are basically the only guys that have actually performed up to expectations. Yet he's the one that needs to "step up".

Can't say I lost respect for SAS, because he didn't have respect to lose. Same goes for all of ESPN and their "experts"

Anyone blaming Dwight for this fiasco is either an idiot or works for ESPN.

    Plain and simple.

Starting to think ESPN has a vendetta against Dwight smh. I remember SAS named Dwight as the player with the most to prove in the NBA this year, as if he hasn't already proven his worth his time here:rolleyes:

Why would Dwight need to prove anything in Houston? The fans for the most part are satisfied with him here. They are constantly singling out Dwight when all he's doing is minding his business. I guess anything with Dwight involved creates storylines for them

You guys gotta hear his point, not his words.

He's saying that DH has not lived up to expectations and is not as dominant as he used to be. This is true to a sense. He is not as dominant and many other Centers have surpassed him.

Now linking that to McHale's firing, I do not agree with.
