I am not a SAS fan, but I do think that he is smarter than a lot of people give him credit. He knows how to generate media attention, and he knows how to spin his way out of outlandish statements.

And over the past couple of weeks the Rockets have been fading from the Lebron talk. Now all of the sudden there seems to be a lot of focus back on this team.

This is why Jalen Rose is my favorite ex-player analyst

Honestly, if Lebron goes to LA knowing that PG won't go, then I'm done with the NBA. WTF is the point of watching when the dudes playing don't give a s***? This would be legit the biggest slap to the face for NBA fans.

Players and agents communicate with Stephen A.

They know the world is watching and he is a good mouth piece to look for general reactions.

I will say, that I think Woj and SAS reports aren't that conflicting.

Saying Lebron doesn't want to go to Houston and CP3 is trying his hardest to get him here is the same thing in a sense.

No kidding. As far as I'm concerned, Smith is perfectly transparent.

The sad thing is LeBron doesn't need superstars. All he needs is good reliable role players. LeBron is one of the very few players who can play every position and dominate. What LeBron needs is a good coach and a good GM. Put solid players around him and he's unstoppable. Instead, LeBron wants to play GM and banana boat his team by bringing in washed up Wade and low IQ players like JR Smith. LeBron believes he is the system and refuses to play in a system.

Lebron needs more than just role players. Not sure what your definition of superstars is but at the very least Lebron needs all stars around him to actually win a championship. JR smith might be dumb but that year he was brought it to cleveland he played a big role in helping him win that championship in cleveland. He just regressed back to being that low iq player after they won

    "Houston Rockets don't need LeBron."

    That statement. Let's clarify....

"Houston Rockets don't need Lebron....so long as everything lines up for them and they don't have any issues with margin for error (bad shooting, injuries etc."

"Houston Rockets need LeBron because the margin for error needs to be expanded when dealing with a 4 All Star Warriors team."

The Rockets need to up their margin for error with better players. That is just the reality.

Exactly. Everytime someone comes on here saying we don't need LBJ it's all about "well if this happened or this didn't happen we would have won." Well how do you know that everything will line up perfectly next season? It's just highly unlikely. Getting LBJ would significantly increases our chances and margin of error.

The Warriors didn't need KD either, but now that they have him we need Lebron.

IMO the Warriors would not have won the NBA title with Barnes in place of KD the last two years. They could have of course. But too many times KD bailed them out with ISOs when Curry went cold. The Warriors margin for error raised significantly with KD. That is the name of the game.

Beadle is salty as hell. If it was the Spurs super team, she wouldn't be feeling like this.

I mean, Kawhi, the savior, is abandoning the Spurs. Rudy Gay opted out. They have Gasol and Mills on the books. Pop the coaching savant gonna go in 2 years? And Jalen Rose is talking super team Rockets with CP3 (who chose he Rockets over the Spurs), MVP to be James Harden and LeBron James.

    Yeah.....Beadle gonna be salty.

    Sit in it, Beadle.

Spot on. We are not sitting on the reality that we can beat the Fubs.

We need Bron because we want to beat them 75% of the time rather than 35% of the time.
