Stephen A. Smith and Max Kellerman just went in raw on the Rockets

WHATS FUNNY IS THEY DO THIS ALL THE TIME. LAST YEAR THE WARRIORS WERE 2 AND 3 IN THEIR FIRST 5 GAMES AND EVERYBODY IN THE MEDIA THOUGHT IT WAS A SIGN THAT THEY WERE CRUMBLING. The bottom line its a long season and the Rockets should get their butts handed to them when they dont play Rockets basketball. When you are a great team scrutiny comes with it. in the interviews after the game you heard the players say they didnt talk on defense. You cant win a pickup game in preschool if the players dont talk. The real issue is how the leaders on the team hold everybody responsible (PJ HardenPaul,EG) They all had sub par games and the team got waxed. So everyone is watching the next game to see what they do against Lebron

 

they were actually 3-2. and 5-3 before going on 6 game streak to start the year

 

I always said. Start you best 5. I blame this on coaching.

Pelicans are a big, fast paced bad match up. The Lakers were the same and a tough team for us last season too, and now with LeBron and run and gun offense, they'll be tougher. I can see us getting another nasty L handed to us Sat night so the media hate is only going to get worse. It's just bad regular season match ups and to be honest, i wouldn't doubt if the Rockets coast this season. Harden finally got his MVP and nothing left to prove in the regular season after carrying us for so long with so much wear and tear. His question marks are all playoff related at this point of his historic career. Time for him to coast. CP3 misses 20+ a season and always seems to go down come playoff time. Time for him to coast. Time for us to coast and be 100% for the playoffs and not push for some 1st seed 60+ win record. Toyota Center home court sucks anyway.

These fast paced bigger teams in slowed down playoff basketball are no match for the Rockets in a 7 game series. GS is the big picture. The only picture.

Gary Clark deserved minutes, but hey Mike doesn't like playing Rookies. His 7 man rotation is cringeworthy especially in the playoffs.

Ennis first step is slower than expected and his upper body is weak to defense bigger guy.

Our offense will improve over the course of the season. Defensively, I don't know if we'll ever get back or surpass last year's level. MCW, Melo, and Ennis are all average and below average defensive players.
