I can't believe you just compared hockey fights to flaming DD. This is the most insulting part of the thread by far. I think you entirely misunderstand the point of hockey fights; in a game that physical where little thugs can run around and injure superstars, fighting is there to keep people honest. Your metaphor isn't very smart. Plus, I get tired of how foul calls and pansies slowly, insidiously ruin the NBA. Couple that with the fact that basketball fans repeatedly insult hockey on these boards and I sometimes question the manhood of folks around here. Fortunately I happen to know that you're a great poster in the football area, so you're excused. (This is all ignoring the fact that DD has a personal beef with TMac much like many posters do with DD... it's a perfect storm.)
If poster A and poster B are insulting each other. We can't really determine whether it is the fault of poster A or B. In fact, both could be at fault. However, if poster A is beefing with poster C,D,E,F,G,H,I,J,K and so on. I think it speaks more about a problem with poster A than the majority.
It is precisely that fact that I chose to fight back instead of letting things just roll off my back, it used to be that flaming someone was frowned upon, and it was controlled, but that changed for some reason, now it is just expected. Kill or be killed, and I have my haters for sure, most of them, just looking to pile on because they have no original thoughts, or are unnoticed in life, and on this BBS. I don't care about how many kids Tmac has and what he does in his off time, I only come to correct people who skew the truth and make excuses for his basketball career. I have no problem with his buddy Stephen A thinking he'll sign with the Bulls, but if some TOF starts comparing him to Michael Jordan, I will be here to set the record straight.
Depending on what he has left, that would be a good minimum dollar signing for the Bulls. He would become a playmaker for that team....his passing skills haven't really dropped off from what I've seen and if he can stay upright, with Brewer and Bogans, thats not a bad 2 guard rotation without blowing up your team. We will see if it actually happens.
