That was last year. The year before it was over 7. And you can't argue the team was just horrific last year.

Agreed...Old habits are hard to break...As long as he doesn't make mistakes (not going to happen), we'll be ok, but he's too inconsistent...

All this and I got a stupid battle red Carr Jersey...

At least he's playing. I have a Domanick Davis jersey. One of my friends has Bennie Joppru.

Every now and again I see a Tony Bosselli jersey.

    Ouch.

It's an often glossed over fact. But the truth is, Bosselli's injury and subsequent retirement killed this franchise before it was even born.

Basically the one hall of famer we were going to get, our #1 pick, so to speak, never played a down for an infant franchise. Devastating.

Blame the NFL. Boselli is medically cleared by them for the expansion draft...Willie Roaf is too injured, and the Chiefs are forced to withdraw him. Willie Roaf has been to the Pro Bowl every season since.

If I were David Carr i'd go kick the Jacksonville team owner in the balls for cheaping out his medical treatment of Bosselli.

i got a different view of things...i think carr will be a top 10 QB this year. all this mess about carr being done is coming from the same people who said yao was a bust a year ago. keep the ball in Carr's hands and let's see what he can do in this system. Sage was great this preseason but he played aginst second and third string defenses. practice patience.

Fist of all, Carr will not be a top 10, but maybe a top 20...

I've never said Yao was a bust, I loved that pick...I think Carr is though...if he doesn't prove it this year, then what...We're stuck with paying him $$$...

well the texans actually changed their story to they had to draft boselli to get payne and walker.

I remember when I jumped on the texans about blowing that deal and I got jumped on by people who said it was irrelevant. turns out it may have really been a big deal if they really wanted him to anchor the line.

I'd like for you to legally represent me on this matter. Please start the process by sending a certified list of interrogatories in which record may be made in the subsequent court trial...

p.s. I'll pay you post arrangement...since we are internet friends :)

    Geez. How quickly we forget.

The Texans had a deal with Jacksonville. If we took Boselli, they would put Gary Walker in the expansion draft as well.

So the Texans took a "maybe" in Boselli, to get a "sure thing" with Walker.

You can argue that decision if you want, but it was a package deal. We just didn't take Boselli thinking he would be a stud. We were just willing to take the risk.

David Carr sucks. Yeah, he probably had his career ruined from the shock of the first 4 seasons...but that's how it goes sometimes.
