dmorey Just finished meeting with @chrisbosh - great player & person. He is about winning so I focused on how w/Houston he can win a championship.
Just to clear things up... the "leader" of the Red Rowdies just changed his facebook status to "Beinvenedos A Miami"... They are in Miami.
Glad to see we were able to make our case first. Now...what was in that powerpoint! Video messages from Hakeem and Clyde and Yao no doubt.
why? they are there....that was the whole main goal/reason. They were to meet with Morey at the final destination
i was kidding, since we all knew that after literally calling the hotel to check on Friedman... still wondering whats going down in miami though...they were suppose to deliver morey to the FA, which we all suspected was bosh, but morey met bosh in dallas apparently...
haha. i know. i only come on clutch fans during the offseason or during a period where the rockets r involved in rumours dealing with trades n free agents.
Maybe Morey is going after Bosh and Wade?!!?!!?!?! How we're going to do that will remain a question...but hey with Morey, anything goes!
The Rockets' Pitch to Bosh Houston Rockets GM Daryl Morey met with Chris Bosh on Thursday morning according to a tweet by Morey. "Just finished meeting with @chrisbosh - great player & person. He is about winning so I focused on how w/Houston he can win a championship." The Rockets have been targeting Bosh for months. Their pitch to Bosh is pretty straightforward. They believe he is a perfect fit with the existing talent they have on their roster and they can offer Bosh a return home to Texas. The Rockets will also stress that if Bosh joins the Rockets, they're likely a 60 win team. If he forms a trinity with LeBron James and Dwyane Wade in Miami, the Rockets believe the team won't have enough supporting talent to support a championship team. The Rockets believe such a pairing would produce a 45 win team. To land Bosh, the Rockets would have to work a sign-and-trade with the Raptors. The team could offer a players like Jordan Hill, Aaron Brooks and the expiring contracts of Jared Jeffries and David Anderson for Bosh. The Rockets, at this point, remain a long shot to get Bosh. Several sources believe that the Heat are in the lead to sign Bosh. http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/post/_/id/17346/the-rockets-pitch-to-bosh
"Rockets also have rt to swap picks w/Knicks in 2011 and own a protected Knicks pick in 2012. They have a ton of assets http://es.pn/aaWWtz " Damn right!
Clearly the caravan was sent to Miami to sabotage any chances the Heats had at landing Bosh. This is just part of Morey's master plan.
well...maybe he figured he could get bosh with the presentation alone and needed the fans to appeal to wade...if he's telling bosh he's only going to get 45 wins in miami with lebron and wade, then i can only imagine how many wins he has projected for them if bosh decides to go to houston...he may use that to persuade wade to join bosh..
