bosh is one hour ahead of us according to his twitter, he cant be in dallas like someone else mentioned earlier in this thread.... so i agree, sounds like he's still in miami
Funny... no report yet. Last year it was known right away they went after Gortat. Hmm... Guess the analytics-heavy presentation takes a while. Wonder why no news from Rowdies or Friedman, either.
I guess Miami might be it for him to sign.... Sounds like he's influenced by family to go there as well chrisbosh: My cousin wants me to go to a certain team. I won't name the team he said, but it's funny how I can't get away. Lol about 2 hours ago
This is kind of off subject but we've been trying to get Bosh, but why not Lebron? Hear me out... From a purely basketball perspective, I feel like our team is specifically built for him. Let's see: Big man who can command double teams and has good enough touch to step out? -check- A grizzled veteran PF that can hit the midrange jumper and does all the dirty work? -check- Guards that spread the floor and can play off the ball? -check- Deep and versatile bench? -check- Good coach? -check- Good owner and GM? -check- Even from a non-basketball perspective, if Lebron wants to achieve his goal of being an international businessman, the Rockets are the best gateway to do so. Why would you want to go to a team like the Bulls or Miami and wait for them to build the right team around you when our team is already primed and waiting?
It must be glorious, like that time Jodie Foster rode through the giant machine in Contact and had that vision where she was on a beach of another planet at the other end of the universe.
Anyone know who we're seeing first? Bosh? Johnson? Wade? someone I don't know about? I hope those free agents see how dedicated Rockets fans are and hope this whole stunt can lure one down here!
Well to the eyes of everyone else in the world it was a vision since it only took a split second to happen. To Chris Bosh though, the powerpoint WAS a real world, and it felt like hours.
Well really you shouldn't expect any news for a few days. The big fish have to meet with all the teams, lay all the deals on table, talk with their agents and families, THEN work it out with the new and old team THEN make an announcment. So untill about the 6th just more speculation really.
i'm going to bed.... no one of importance seems to be in miami at the moment, maybe someone will fly in later today or there will be an update..
So every other NBA team is reporting who meets who and where yet we still don't know where our caravan is exactly headed to and which FA it's meeting. Which leads to the question... Are we in for another Morey surprise?
