    Yes, he can occasionally hit a 12-14 ft jumper

    Most of Nene's shots come at the rim, but he's a decent outside shooter.

    He hasn't been able to hit the 10-15 footer this season (only 25%), whereas he's among league leaders among bigs from <10 feet (49.1%) and 16-23 feet (48%).
    The 25% from 10-15 feet can however be explained by small sample size (I don't have the exact numbers, but he's attempted as many 10-15 footers, as Chuck Hayes has 16-23 footers, so I'm guessing he's 1/4.).

    For comparison Scola is shooting 42.3% from <10 feet, 42.9% from 10-15 feet and 48% from 16-23 feet, however Scola is also taking a lot more outside shots, which generally tends to hurt your percentages.

    To further emphasize that point, let's look at Nene and Scola's shooting locations and percentages from last year:
