Every team in the west would also love this trade.
It would guarantee that the Rockets will no longer be a problem.

Trade Brewer and Harrell for Markieff
Trade Dekker and Jones for Marcus

I think someone is going to offer him more money than Morey will want to pay him. If the Rockets some how make the WCF/Finals again, then possibly...... but that isn't happening unless Ty Lawson plays like Ty Lawson and a trade is made.

I'd prefer not to find out, and Morris for Jones? It would be like moving deck chairs on the Titanic as she's going down.

We'll always have a PG problem as long as Harden decides he doesn't want to share the ball.

If he were sharing the ball handling duties, Jarrett Jack would be perfect next to him.

Keep Jones over Morris, good God Man, some of you need to snap out of it. Morris is a chucker who plays no defense. I think some folks are trying to convince their damn selves that TJ is the worst player in the league, thus looking at this scenario as a win.

He's gone at the end of the season. Lost asset, just like Parsons, who Morey probably regrets not trading.

Can we just trade for Brandon Knight instead?

Highly doubt we match offers in the off-season for BOTH Jones/DMo. DMo seems to be the better fit/player for this team and if we can get something for Jones now, might as well go for it.

A catch 22 we have going here. If the Rockets start to improve, then trading for Markeif could hurt team chemistry. If the Rockets don't turn it around, adding on a longer term commitment for a TJones and rooks is an expense the Rockets don't need. I don't see a situation where this would work outside trading Lawson and Jones for Markeif. Jones and Lawson for Markeif seems like a deal neither side really wants as well.

Brewer is by far the worse Rocket this season. He probably wouldn't have the jumping squad attacking his every move either.

I doubt he lets DMo go given that he can't replace him. Parsons was a different story because you can just get Ariza who usually provides 3's and defense which equals or exceeds Parsons' value to the team. You simply can't do that with DMo. Even a max offer has to be matched.

I've been saying that he's the worst player on the roster for a while now, the difference? No ridiculous excuse squad comes out to defend him. Point out that Jones has been pretty bad this season and all hell breaks loose. It's Lin 2.0
