Lawson for Thaddeus Young would work from a salary perspective and I could see the Nets doing it. But I doubt Morey would since Lawson can be released after the year and young's deal has multiple years left.

Hawks just said they're not trading anyone... These "insiders" can't keep their damn fabricated narrative straight...

 

The Nets need to rebuild, and if Lawson's contract remains non-guaranteed when traded, they can get out of Young's $12 million salary for the next few years.

there are many teams who want Young's contract right now. It's safe and cheap. With Johnson out of the books the Nets will already have like 30+ mil capspace.
