Keep in mind that Artest is not going to be shooting 60% from beyond the arc, or whatever it is, throughout the season. And he has not shot well on his postup and drives in two games.

Moreover, it's preseason. The best predictor for what he'll give us is to just look at what he did the last couple years in Sacramento.

Given the situation, I think it is inevitable that we trade (or try to) 2 or 3 of the aforementioned 11-man rotation for the aforementioned trusted backup floor leader and make the aforementioned roster space for Deke.

well Artest has not been on a contract year for a while now, you never know what kind of player he will be this year.

    Stern. David Stern.

And no, it's not allowed. Maximum allowed on the active roster is 12 men.

You do realize that we have not lost a single game when Yao & Scola both started right?

Personally, I think it doesn't matter either way-whether Shane starts at the three or Artest starts.

He offers so much versatility for this team.

    Starting lineup:
    Rafer
    Tmac
    Shane
    Luis/Landry
    Yao

    or:
    Rafer
    Tmac
    Artest
    Luis/Landry
    Yao

    or (really small ball)
    Rafer
    Tmac
    Shane
    Artest
    Luis/Landry

    or (aka point forward-ism)
    Tmac
    Artest
    Shane
    Luis/Landry
    Yao

so on so on. God I love the possibilities and potential. MOREY FTW!!!!

    Thanks for sharing this man.

"There is no chin behind Ron Artest's beard. There is only another fist."

    hahaha classic.
