    On some switches possibly.

    Remember the term "positionless basketball"?

Batum is my favorite player in this FA, besides Durant.

Could we steal Wade from Heat? 1 year max, maybe?

Seriously, but nooo! Rocket fans dont dream big. They rather get lottery picks than go into the playoffs arms ready. And are afraid to even want Durant because they're afraid to get there hearts broken if they dont. Poor things. This is what they have made them.

Unfortunately, I don't see any reality in which CLT does not give Batum exactly what he wants - he's by far their best player since Gerald Wallace, and he was never even particularly good. I think CLT made a (terrible) move preparing them to move on from either Lee, Lin, or both, but Batum seems like a lock.

Batum is the guy I'd meet @ 12 AM, July 1st. By himself, he fills multiple holes on the roster, and would be ideal next to Harden. Despite popular opinion, Parsons would also be a day 1 guy.

There's delusion, and then there's writing fan fiction.

Knicks is debatable imo. Kristaps + Carmelo is better than Harden + nobody

    According to nbc sports:

Clippers’ reported primary pitch to Kevin Durant involves him taking pay cut to play with Chris Paul, DeAndre, Blake

It's really debatable. I think Harden is a top 10 player in the NBA, but I'm not sure if you trade Harden for Kristaps even straight up. The guy is a potential superstar on a rookie deal, one of the most valuable assets in the NBA.

Seriously, 57 pages of calling Stein a troll and Dallas homer and the dude was right. Rockets didn't even get a meeting. He and Woj are the top 2 in the business at breaking news and being accurate.

Looks like the Thunder are trying to unload Kanter and Singler to sign Horford.

Bastards knew what they where doing when they traded away Ibaka, replace him with Horford. Basically trading Ibaka and Kanter in exchange for Horford, Oladipo and Sabonis. Smart move, undoubtley the Thunder would be the absolute best place to be for Durant if thay land Horford. Durant would have to really hate living in OKC or something leave that kind of talent and money behind.

I would take that package of Kanter and Singler, Thunder will have to trade or waive or trade Sova and Morrow too which are both players the Rockets could target. Doubt the Thunder trade any of them to a west conf rival though.

    Westbrook / Payton
    Oladipo / Roberson
    Durant / Huestis
    Horford / Sabonis
    Adams / McGary / Collison

    What a sick team.

Because we have nothing to offer. Why is this so complicated, people? Our cap space is irrelevant with nearly every team having money to burn this offseason. So this ain't like 3 years ago when we were chasing Dwight and there were maybe half a dozen teams who had a realistic shot at signing him.

Also, our roster is a mess. Sure, we've got Harden. But one offensive star alone won't win you jacksh-t in this league. Our 41-41 record last season proves this. And beyond him, we really don't have anything. We're actually worse at this moment talentwise than we were this past year when we finished with a .500 record.

And lastly, this organization's reputation is in tatters. Harden is routinely mocked for his refusal to play defense. Morey is loathed by people in the media. Les is a senile old fool who just gave a 4-year deal to a guy who got run out of New York and LA in his last 2 head coaching gigs. Dwight had such a bad year that the Inside the NBA crew on TNT staged an intervention on live TV.

If you're Kevin Durant or any other big name free agent, why would you even flirt with signing onto a situation like that?

I truly think some of you get more excited about possible trades & FA possibilities than the actual game of basketball itself. Durant is NOT coming here because he has not reason too. We suck and our organization looking terrible right now from s PR standpoint
