I won't make a new thread but did anyone else think the Colts punting from the Ravens 30-yard line was an act of mercy? I've never seen that before in the first half of a game.

With Steve McNair on IR, is Kyle Boller the worst starting QB in the NFL? I'm scared the Dolphins are going to beat the Ravens and ruin their perfect season.

What's funny is that most fantasy boards had Kyle Boller ahead of Sage Rosenfels this week. Muhahahaha.

    BARF.....

Between the Rockets losing, me losing in my fantasy football playoffs and my Steelers getting humiliated I think it's safe to say that today SUCKED.

ALLLLLLLLL I will say is look back to 2005. Granted, this New England team is amazing but in 2005 the Colts were the big undefeated "team to beat" that beat the living hell out of us in the regular season but couldn't beat us in the playoffs. Not saying it will come to that but there's a lot of heart in this black & gold bunch. A loss like this is unforgettable.

On a positive note the Steelers moved the ball against their defense. As great as they looked today they only outgained the Steelers by about 70 yards. Then you factor in the botched goal line turnover on downs you have 20 points. 20 points is usually enough to win a football game provided your defense shows up.

Not making any excuses but having Polamalu would have been nice too. You can basically lay blame solely for 2/4 of Brady's TD's on just poor fundamental safety play.

Bottom line though is this was a stinger and definitely was a statement game for the Pats. This is probably the best football team i've ever seen in person but even the best can lose on any given day. We'll just have to see what happens.....

One thing is clear the Patriots come to play even when given a slight motivation. They pounded the Steelers' secondary for yapping their mouth. Brady plays so calm under pressure is it amazing to watch. He never gets rattled even if you sack him, he'll just get and up and throw a touchdown in your face. I don't think they will lose the rest of the way.

Jets - They are motivated to destroy this team more than anyone other for the spygate stuff. I expect to Billichick to light em up for 50+ and pounding them for huge numbers. Brady might even get the TD record in one game if he feels like it.

Miami - (72 Dolphins/Don Shula asterisk quote) should be enough to motivate them to kill them and rub it all over them.

Giants - This may be trap game, depends how badly the Patriots want the 16-0 but once you get there it is more than enough to get your blood boil knowing perfection is within reach.
