Stats suggest we would benefit from trying to use DMo & Casspi . I thought our Front Office was stat

He's quicker than Asik and better than Jones at fronting players and putting his body in position to create charges. The 7-man rotation is not working. LMA has already scored 89 points in 2 games. You have to mix things up with a combination of different players and strategies (like a double team) instead of trotting out the same old crap that ain't working.

What?! You mean McHale should actually use our bench? That's crazy talk. I mean what could Daniels bring to the game other than 3-point shooting which this team desperately needed in Games 1 and 2? What could D-Mo bring other than a 7-footer who's taller than Jones and more athletic than Asik who could give Aldridge a different look on defense? What could Casspi bring other than at least a remote possibility of a 4 guy who could knock down an outside shot and draw Lopez, Robinson, or Aldridge out of the paint?

But you see, in order to use those guys, that would require McHale to make adjustments. To actually alter his gameplan instead of sticking to the same one that has worked out brilliantly for the Rockets in the first 2 games. I think we're asking too much of the man.

Let DMo and Casspi play. The 8 man rotation does not work. You can't just keep banging your head to the wall in the playoffs. It's about finding the guys that have the energy and can energize the others.

Doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting different results is insane

You know what I've been thinking the past week. Just because the book says you need to shorten your lineup to 7 or 8 players in the playoffs doesn't mean the ROCKETS ,who are maybe one of the least traditional NBA teams ever, should shorten their lineup.

I think Houston has really looked unsure of themselves in this series, and I just dont know why they have tried to change their identity overnight. A HUGE part of their identity has been playing small ball without going small, moving the ball, and shooting the 3.

Now- D-Mo and Casspi obviously don't makeup the sole identity of those things they like to do, but shortening the rotation, not running, and limiting the amount of looks this team is going to get in their offense have to be somewhat related in some weird way.

I do think that going away from the rotation that gave this team so much success when the team was at its peak around February and March is a huge mistake. Whatever they were doing in that time-frame when they were steamrolling the entire NBA is exactly the team you needed to keep putting out there, and make sure they stick to the same schemes on both ends.

    Couldn't agree more.

Changing their identity overnight seems to be an admission of doubt. Getting away from the style this young team has built confidence in over the past two season may have sucked the confidence out of them. All of a sudden they don't know who they are.

With regard to Casspi and Cisco specifically, we as fans aren't seeing the practice court. They could be both be in slumps. Garcia has launched up a couple this series that were... whoa. If those guys aren't hitting from outside, along with Parsons and Harden cold, this offense toast, even playing Feb. '14 style ball.

In Donuts would destroy Aldridge on offense, maybe draw some fouls (both on offense&defense), and he boxes out on defensive rebounds, and he sprints every offensive set (will make Aldridge tyred more).

How the hell McHale didn't figured it out?

    I'm sorry for being argumentative.

Casspi is a good rebounder and he brings energy on the court. He did do somethings well on february. Everyone always see the negative but there are some positives. THe Rockets are better when Casspi is on the court. He's made some mistakes and has done some stupid things on the court but he is a positive. If you matchup Casspi against aldridge and he makes some 3s, gets some baskets around the rim, gets a few rebounds and contests aldridges jumpers. It's the best the Rockets have against Aldridge. My intutition is that Aldridge does not want to chase Casspi game after game.

We were told what would happen and who would play. Omri Casspi is a chump and someone that no one wants to be.

He's a token israeli in the nba. That guy has done the belittling jewish marketing crap for the nba and has dealt with morons. That an israeli can die serving at the Nevada Test Site but can't play in the nba is a joke.
