Statistical Observations For Winning

    Just thought it would be interesting to see what kind of statistical observations y'all have seen or look for with regard to winning. And not the obvious, when the Rockets score more points than the other team they win.

    Here's one I saw:

    James Harden's scoring numbers

    30+ points - Rockets (7 - 1)
    20 - 29 points - Rockets (5 - 6)
    10 - 19 points - Rockets (2 - 3)
    0 - 9 points - Rockets (0 - 1)

    I know this example is probbably non-telling but thought it may give a template.

    OH and I noticed our team scores more points than the opposing team... it's quite entertaining...

    Nice try. How about points per possession when Lin touches the ball versus stands in the corner? Reminds me of Rockets possessions when Yao got ignored by Francis and Mobley.
