I wouldn’t say it’s a right or left issue. Both sides have their big brother concerns when it comes to increased surveillance. More surveillance gives asset protection teams/law enforcement the data they need to prevent and solve organized retail crime.

Illinois and Florida, opposite ends of the political spectrum, both recently passed new laws going after resellers. That should be a step in the right direction.
