Lol. I didn't watch but heard a clip of her this morning. It sounded like she was going to cry. I guess not an Obama-convention-speech-like moment in her career.

The speaker told them not to do that, probably because he knew Biden would leverage it for rhetorical advantage like he did last year.

You could see Johnson squirming when people were interrupting Biden

I'm not gonna lie. I didn't watch it. I already know I would never vote for a lying sociopath/psychopathic criminal and traitor, so Biden gets my vote over Trump.

Speaking of psychopaths, here's a couple lines from Trump's social media rant. He just described himself in his rant against Biden. :D

"No talk of weaponization against his very calm and nice opponent. Angry as hell, this guy is a PSYCHO!"

Things that seem like will never happen again

    1. A President that won't be indicted/impeached for something real or imagined
    2. State of the Union held with any level of respect, class or decorum

Don't be so pessimistic. We are most of the way through Biden's first term and he hasn't been indicted or impeached for anything yet. It's not for lack of trying, but making made-up accusations stick is easier said than done.

As for SOTU, we're in an election year so that's the worst chance possible for decorum. Maybe the 2026 SOTU.

Didn’t watch and didn’t care. Nothing but bunch of of gobbledygook and hot air; lies left and right, and empty promises. Idiots, all of them. At this point, idgaf about politics or the lies and deceit that's spewed out of every politician's mouth.

Every single one of you have already drawn your line and know who you will and will not vote for, irregardless of what is said or going on at this point. At this point y'all are wearing rose glasses and any opposition views goes in one ear and out the other.

And for those truly undecided? Give them some more rousing empty promises and give them something that'll provide immediate satisfaction; maybe they'll flock to that side.

    Peace.

That's why smart Americans just look at the facts. If they did, criminals and sociopathic lying traitors like Trump would never get their support to begin with. Brainwashed dummies see Trump as their hero, their God, and the man who gave up his paycheck to serve with honor and dedication to them.

Glad you stopped in to the politics section of boards and the the specific thread about the state of the union to announce that you don't know about the state of the union and don't care about it, and are uninformed. Awesome.

    Democrats need a Heavy

The guy they oppose openly but secretly grin with because they love them telling the truth
in very harsh tones Someone that is not politically correct at all

Which is why Democrats best allies are comedians

He had to scream over all the hecklers who tried to make him stumble and look like a frail confused man.

That's all they care about, and when Biden triumphs over it, they message that as a character flaw.

My goodness was Katie Britt awful. She seemed to be over-acting in a no budget short film.

Yes. She wanted so badly to be able to cry, but listened to the advice of her acting teacher that said don't cry if you can't because it won't play well, but she kept trying to make it happen and just couldn't quite get there.

While some of the criticism seems a bit unfair (they never should have chosen her and they didn't put her in a position to succeed), but this is funny...

Good description for the GOP PR department, once Trump siphons every last dollar for his legal defenses.

Honestly, someone should have coached her to just be like she was here...
