Really enjoyed how all the mouth breathers at my club were whining about Barry Hussein not trying to free the sailors. All he wants to do is play golf and read from the prompter... Kerry is drafting a sternly worded letter... Why hasn't he ordered Iran to be bombed yet!!! I guess there are a lot clowns who want to start yet another war in the middle east. Just can't get enough.
On a more serious note, did anybody watch the Republican response? If so, can anyone explain to me why Nikki Haley doesn't move her mouth when she talks??
I thought it was a good speech that basically outlined the divide between the two parties and the fork in the road that is coming in November and it definitely seemed different from past SOTU addresses. Of course, the sheep on the right will dismiss all of it because, well, that's what they do. It was refreshing to hear a politician with an actual optimistic outlook for the country but of course, we had to have the Republican response to remind us of how terrible things are. Also, it was nice to see that Paul Ryan has already mastered his cynical Republican face, that should come in handy in future SOTU addresses, especially if Hillary is the one that gets elected.
You should watch it, it's worth an hour of your time for it's historic significance if nothing else. We are 100% guaranteed to not see a President equal to Mr. Obama for 4 years; maybe for a generation. For me at 62, it goes back Kennedy. I was just a kid but he inspired me with his audacious rhetoric.
Obama refered to himself 51 times during his last state of the union address. Obama's Most Selfless State Of The Union Yet While that number would be astonishingly high for pretty much anyone else, it was actually a reduction from prior years. 2010 - 117 2011 - 68 2012 - 94 2013 - 57 2014 - 83 2015 - 95 Barack Obama is a raging narcissist if ever there was one.

To get this back to substance. It was a good speech with some very good oratory but I got the feeling that Obama does feel frustrated that more of his agenda hasn't been done. He's also laying down a challenge to Democrats to run on his record. The Republican response wasn't bad and much much better than previous ones. Bobby Jindal's response pretty much killed his chances of national office. I was surprised that Haley went after Trump's rhetoric but I think it shows how much the RNC is worried about Trump.
W. I really think he meant well but massive world events and his handlers just got the better of him.
