It's pointless with the internet and my current lifestyle. Working on a rocket now.

Angry Video Game Nerd captures what I am feeling right now between this and the music thread.
"Is it better to access to more all at once or to have less but appreciate it more?"

Cable is about to have its cable pulled.
Streaming is on its way to becoming the new cable down to the obnoxious ads and ever rising fees. But traditional cable? No one is watching.

Once a Cash Cow, Cable TV Is Now Roadkill. Is a Fire Sale Next?
As Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery take massive hits to their businesses, executives will need to make difficult choices on managing the decline.

The problem is that the value of cable channels is in flux, as the enormous impairment charges demonstrate. How fast will the pay-TV system disintegrate? And how low can carriage fees go? Until there is more certainty around those answers, investors may hang back, or wait for more opportunistic moments (like, say, a bankruptcy).
