episodes 8 and 9 are also online too! havent seen episode 9 yet episode 8 was pretty interesting. this show is pretty entertaining but is still pretty superficial story line wise. def a show i probably will watch i just wonder how they will direct the story it seems like its a show that can only last 1-2 seasons at most the way its going with characters dying left and right
Good show. I'm at episode 6 right now. Side note: the show's got me doing some research on Romans and Gladiators etc. Excavation of battle sites revealed the average Roman soldier was 5'2"! The Gauls who were giants, stood around a towering 5'8". I make a bad ass gladiator at nearly 5'9". lol
The end of episode 9 was pretty brutal. Production of season 2 is delayed while Andy Whitfield is treated for cancer. First Dexter, now Spartacus. http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/2010/03/09/spartacus-star-andy-whitfield-has-cancer/#more-6737
Great show. Just watched episode 9, Is that it for the first season? Why is Spartacus such an ass lately? I feel like Crixus(However you spell it) is who I have been siding with more lately. How many times does a guy need to save your life before you show him some respect? It really disturbs, and annoys me. If Spartacus had a brain he would buddy up with that beast...
Love the show, it's filling the gap missing from True Blood and Dexter nicely. Pretty good attempt at being as true as possible to that time period and growing to hate the dude from the Mummy movies while loving Xena with every episode.
I was so young when this show was on... but now I get why it had a huge lesbian following just by seeing this picture... Xena, watch her thrash men with her giant metallic symbolic vagina of death. Spartacus is def a must watch though!
I'm really beginning to like this show more and more. No one is safe from dark thoughts. Everyone is capable of being evil when it suits their needs, even our hero Spartacus. Which reminds me, what is his real name again? I've forgotten it already.
Except these days, you''ll go up against dudes like this guy: http://www.americangladiatorsblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/justice_016.jpg He is 6'8, 240 lbs.
I think this show is okay and definitely got better after a rough couple of first shows. But it cracks me up that people keep on talking about how realistic it is. C'mon, it's pure adolescent fantasy. I chuckle every time they play that little disclaimer at the beginning.
how many episodes total? are they taking a break after episode 9? or are there 13 episodes total already shown?
I'll use my axe to cut off his legs from the knee up.. That is my best strategy if going against goliath, USE THAT AXE...
E10 on Netflix now. Spoiler Woah. This show moves lighting fast. I knew that he was going to die. It was just too obvious. But to do it this way, so early...dang, Gina.
With a British twist. They need to stop pretending as if having British accent making the show more historically legit.
