thats because he was attacking the rim. plus all of our players are afraid to shoot.

That's my point. People want this fictional pass 1st pg, but the rox don't have enough play finishers. Battier only shoots when he's wide open in the corner, scola only shoots when he's open, and ron does what ron do. Utah knows this , so they single yao and force the rockets role players to beat them. Brooks, lowry, and wafer are the only attack the rim types. If yao is out the game, battier should be out the game.

If Baron has his head straight he can be as good as any PG in the league. He's injured and sulking this year because he's stuck with the Clippers.

The thing he did well last night was attack.....I don't know why Brooks gets so passive.....he should be on full blast every second he has the ball....and get out for some early transition or delayed breaks buckets.

Brooks gets his head down too easily, he needs to man up, or Lowry is gonna blast right by him.

Aaron is not passive, he's just not smart. He has very low IQ for a point guard. Kyle Lowry plays like a veteran when he's still extremely young while playing for a completely crappy team in Memphis.

    Kyle Lowry is the answer.

Many of us realised that Yao's fouls has increased recently. Last five games( from Cavs to Jazz)4.6 times per game. krockets started a thread about referees discriminate Chinese, Yao is a stat, but not well respected by refs. That maybe one of the reasons.

I think there are some other reasons due to Yao's foul, since Rafer dealt to Magic, AB became our starting PG with no doubt, but he performs much like a SG, not PG, shoot alot(many times more than Yao and Scola) and his shooting percentage is even lower than Rafer, that terrible, or we can call him our NEW Team Cancer. Second, AB neglect Yao's existence, AB is speedy while Yao slowly, when AB is on the court, always see Yao run from one side to another.

Lowry is well performed, at least much better. So my idea is AB back to the bench, Lowry become our starting PG.

seriously...people are just stat whores now. all they look at is the box score and the "fantasy" stats. if the hockey assist was recorded lowry probably would have a lot. and yao would average almost eight of those per game. and both the basketball assist and the hockey assist are equally valuable.

Yep, Stats only tell half the story....

There's a reason why Yao Ming is better than Dwight Howard, and it's not because of stats.

Doesn't that missed opportunity in the summertime hurt more and more as the days pass? Imagine what the current roster would look like with Billups and Prince?

There was never a prince and billups deal for tracy. The package offered was billups and mcdyess for tracy. Kill that noise.

When Rafer started people whined that Brooks should start!
When Brooks started people moaned that Lowry should start!
Maybe when Lowry finally does start, people will realise Barry is the answer?

Both Lowry and Brooks have their weakness. Lowry being more a PG but can't really shoot. Brooks shoots better but he is a SG in PG. Both attack the rim well. But both are not starting material!

Lowry's feel for the game and his ability to draw fouls and play D will put him in the starting lineup.

But having Brooks as a change of pace guy off the bench would be nice. He's better than House.

3 assists by Brooks, 0 assists by Lowry

that is terrible production from the PG position.
