And the Rockets don't even need that.....

Rockets need a guy who can set up the 3 scorers in the starting lineup and those guys would be named Yao Ming, Luis Scola and Ron Artest. We also have Shane Battier waiting in the baseline for a 3 pointer.

Really, Everything is there for Kyle Lowry. It's a joke that he isn't starting now.

Yeah, I've been saying lets try out Lowry at starting pg. Nothing is forever. I thought it would be pretty well understood that if you have 2 good pgs, but 1 was a better passer, you would want the better passer with the starters...

Oh he's definitely got the "looking for his shot" part down pat. The problem is if you pair him with Artest, Yao, etc who also need the ball. Brooks is better off the bench.

    Dude. He had 0 assists.

A PG's job is to have assists.

I'm not a fan of hating either but if Brooks needs to learn how develop a pss ability.

The problem is Brooks's DEFENSE. He just can't contain Parker. I thought Lowry did a bit better when he was guarding Parker in the game.

Brooks's penetration serves Yao well. Even if he doesn't pass him the ball, if he lays it up and misses it Yao has a good shot at grabbing the ball and putting it back up.

Well, I gotta say, Brooks is shooting around 39% as a starter and his ast/TO ratio is only average...our obvious priority from this point forward is to get a starting caliber PG. Lowry may be the answer, but that will take time to determine.

LOL! There is a wide gap between those two, Parker came into the league with a decent bball IQ... Brooks just doesn't have it! Can he learn it? sure but its not a sure thing. Parker pulls it out when the drive isn't there, hes always got an eye on where his team mates are at when he goes in. Yes he shot a lot but we just got lucky he missed some easy ones.. he got good looks.

Actually.. He play a great game and was the main reason they came close to winning the game

An assist is when you help someone make a point... So when he does pass it to the open man, it's up that person to make the shot.

Now the last shot he took was not a good shot, but then again what was the play that was written up during the timeout..

But let's break the whole thing down.......

No MATTER who took the last shot, they were going to be the GOAT in this LOST.... When the Rockets LOSE you guys will fine a Scapegoat and put all the blame on that person..

Yao has no problem coming out to set a screen for him. Every time I see that, I know we are going to see a bad shot from AB.

Agreed, million dollar talent, 2 cent brain. Just like Steve Francis.

Aaron Brooks needs to be benched. I've been saying that ever since I first saw Kyle Lowry.

    STOP HATING ON BROOKS!!

The only player on this Rockets team that has the potentials to be a closer in the playoffs is Aaron Brooks. He needs to continue to improve for us to have a chance in the playoffs. Otherwise you can pencil in another first round exit.

and pretty much none of those guys get you an assist when you give it to them. they are one on one players. yao got the ball a ton, but he's almost never going to give you an assist. we have a one on one starting lineup, which is why i think brooks fits in better with them than the bench (whether lowry should start or not). he gets his turns when yao sets picks for him and then the others get their turn. the second unit has more need for a guy who can really run things and that is lowry. lowry handing the ball to yao in the post isn't really any different than brooks giving it to yao in the post.

Statistically, something like 50%+ of Yao's shots are assisted, if I'm not mistaken.
