I highly doubt there are 10 players better then Sosa in this era.

BGM, interesting list, and I agree for the most part, but you have to take age as a factor. For example, I'd take Vlad over Sammy, but only because he's younger.

Also, Glavine shouldn't be on that list. Hampton has been mediocre this year also.

I concur that neither Glavine nor Hampton are having great years, but I am of the opinion that this year for Glavine is an abberation, and even then, for an abberration, I'll take it.

And Hampton's struggles I put down to playing for the Rockies.

Oh I am, but like with Randy Johnson and Griffey, I have to be bitter for a year before I can accept them being gone. :D

By the way, I'm a little surprised at all the votes for Jagr for NHL franchises. He's an incredible scorer, but the man has never heard of the word defense. Plus, and I could be wrong on this, but isn't he a little old (mid-30s)?

On any other LB I would agree with you, but I feel Ray Lewis was the person most responsible for the Baltimore defense. Outside of him I would say that their D isn't as good as Tampa. The Raven won the Super Bowl and the Bucs got spanked by the Eagles in the first round. By the way, the Ravens QB's Banks and Dilfer, who both cannot get a job this season.
